The Raiders are at home on FOX, so CBS can't air a game in the local market at the same time. It works out better for me, I won't have to worry about missing the beginning of the game like against the Jets week 2. Sunday ticket will show the game in its entireity. The one caveat is if the Raiders' game doesn't sell out. Then, who knows what will happen. CBS will have to choose only a single game either at 1 or 4 PM EST to air and won't get to air a double header.

Yeah... and the Raiders pulled some monkey business about only having to sell 85% of their tickets to declare a sellout... one more reason to hate them :)

Do I really want to buy the second half of the season on the Sunday Ticket... hmmm

I think I'll watch the MIN/SEA game instead!

Glad to be able to watch it on a full TV screen this week.

VA Usually if you call them and say you are going to shut off direct tv and resign up next year, they will offer it free to keep you as a customer. Worth a try

I was able to get Sunday ticket for free by agreeing to extend my Direct agreement by one year. They even gave me an additional $240 in programming credits over the next year. I'm not going anywhere, so pretty much a no-brainer. :)

Maybe I will try that next season, because I paid 200.00 for the Sunday Tix this year (free last year) and I have yet to watch a Steelers game on it because all of our games have been on local tv.

Yeah it is crazy...I get DirecTV this year and the only game I needed to have anything for was the Thurs night game as they have all been on locally.

What has been priceless though is the DVR. No more arguing with the wife about going to this party or that event, etc during game time. I keep the peace and see my game!!!
