Maybe you should look up Gruden's career for mediocrity.

Heyward's problem this season isn't how they are using him. He's toast.

It would have been a much better game to watch if there were no Steeler turnovers. At least there is RedZone if you need a football fix. The Bears game was another that should have been won. Too many mental mistakes like walking out into traffic without looking for cars.

    Turn out the lights?!

When were the lights ever fully on?!

The lights have been flickering all season. Now, that lightbulb is about to blow.

Heyward will likely have a another raise in next season in his contract after a holdout or hold in during the mini camp and training camp

it's not just those two either. add ramsey, highsmith, queen. the top 5 salaries are defensive players and they are due just under 118 million. then we have another 53 million tied up in the next 3 offensive guys. friermuth, DK and smith. that's 171 million of that 279. that's 8 questionable players eating up most of the money and no QB.

Gruden is FAR worse than Tomlin. Both guys are great football personalities, but not great HC’s anymore.

I can't believe you guys are debating Jon Gruden at this point. Forget the character issues. We are talking 2026. Do we really want to go backwards? What the Steelers need is a young head coach who wants to come in and build a program. Somebody who is innovative, and can get the most out of today's young players. Both Cowher and Tomlin stepped into the head coaching job as young men with chips on their shoulders. Hiring Jon Gruden would be hiring an old guy with bad hips and shoulders. There's the difference.

    Don Meredith was neat.
    Should have kept Pickett
    Should have kept Pickens.
    Should have kept Harris
    Should have traded Watt

When you lose Kaboly, the party is over and the snack table is bare.

Does killing dogs fit the mold of a Steelers QB?
Does assaulting and harassing women fit the mold of a Steelers QB?
Does trying to interfere with a player running up the field fit the mold of a Steelers coach?

Give me a break with this ****.

Some say Tomlin won with Cowher’s players. You can say Gruden won with Dungy’s players. And he lucked out by playing his old team led by Callahan who had the bright idea to change the game plan right before the SB and throwing everything into disarray. After that Gruden made the playoffs twice losing both time. And he is still milking that 2002 success like Al Bundy milking his Polk High success

Unfortunately I could see the gummy worm owner doing that.

Bags will be here in 2026 because the gummy worm's peers are going to be in town for the draft and he doesn't want to be criticized or embarrassed. Not that the pipe dream of Bags being let go would come true anyway.
