No problem. End result is the same. Tuitt's season is done and the Steelers won't get to see what they could have done against the Patriots with their defense intact.

Yeah he's a difference maker for sure and I was begging for him to get back out there today. We still have a healthy Ben though and honestly we're only going as far as he takes us anyway. Still love Tuitt though.

They aren't getting past the Patriots unless the defense is better. For all the adjustments in the secondary and the drafting of Watt, the real hope was that things would be different if they had both Heyward and Tuitt come playoff time.

If it's torn bicep it will be long 6 years.

Lavon Hooks and Johnny Maxey are more tackle than end. I would recommend kicking the tires on Jared Odrick.

Are you kidding this is same guy who sent out a twitter that Tuitt signed a 5 year contract when it was actually a 6 year.

I hope it isn't what I am hearing, a torn pectorial muscle? I had high expectations for Tuitt this year.
He was well on his way of being our best DL.

I think he was already there. Heyward is still very good, but I thought Tuitt had surpassed him.

Redman had this same injury one season. PWP did that Mr. Miyagi from the karate kid thing where he rubbed his hands together real fast then placed them on the injured area.
Redman went on to make the Pro Bowl, League MVP, Super Bowl MVP and won the Nobel Prize.
    Let's not overreact.

Didn't Suggs play through a torn biceps for the Ravens once?

I'm not overreacting to the career ramifications, but I am assuming Tuitt's season is over and that's quite frustrating. I would have loved to see this team's pass rush with the entire front seven intact, which never happened last season and likely won't happen again this year.

Per Kaboly teammates were saying his injury "wasn't that bad."

Who knows what that means though.

I bet Tuitt will go on the "half season" IR. 8 games.

I'm holding out hope. Tuitt was poised to become a Pro Bowl player this season.

Who would have thunk it just the day before he signed a big deal.

Maybe he could IR designate to return?

If it's torn, he's done for the year. No doubt.

Colbert was pretty smart on that Tyson Alualu signing. But, he is no Tuitt that is for sure.

LT Walton brings a little bit to the table too. Always been an LT Walton fan boy. He's shown he's decent in pre-season games.
