He only played a short time today but he came out firing on all cylinders. Was disrupting plays all over the place. Let's hope he returns real soon.

Tuitt is very underrated and about as important to this defense as Cam is. Losing him for the season would be a huge blow. He was really poised for a huge breakout year. Let's hope it's not a tear.

    Here is from Rich Walsh.

Do not see a sling... so that is comforting indeed.

less than 24 hours after signing the big contract....makes me wonder if it was a pre-existing condition that he kept hush-hush......nah.

Tuitt left the locker room with his left arm/shoulder wrapped and said "we'll know more tomorrow". I'm guessing that means an mri.

Which arm is hurt, he wasn't moving the other one?

Yeah are we sure it isn't shoulder more than bicep?

The left, which he is clearly not moving in that vid. Somethings wrong with it.

At this point, if it is a separated shoulder that would be great news... what is that? A 4 week injury?

You can tell though from that video that he is definitely not moving his left arm. Hopefully it's not a tear. I remember when Aaron Smith first tore his arm. Our Run Defense was never the same that year.

Did Aaron Smith come back from that injury to later, re-injure it again?

Yes he was never the same again after that injury. IR 3 times in 4 years. Bicep tear, rotator cuff and then tricep tear.

Definitely bicep. It's a season ender if torn. Not looking good. Staying hopeful though.

Adam Schefter had it on Twitter, though they will do the MRI to confirm tomorrow.

So much for the idea that having both Heyward and Tuitt on the field would give them the dominant front the need to have a shot against the Patriots.

Well if Schefter had it up then it's probably true because he's not above publishing private medical records. Just ask Jason Pierre Paul.

    Hmmm....

Only silver lining is Tyson Alualu. Will have to see what he can do.

Tuit did suffer a bicep injury, further information will be known once he is evaluated. According to Steelers injury report. This looks bad especially if you see how he did it. Looked to me all he did was give a guy a shove. Wasn't their a quarterback like Bradford or another that missed an entire season due to bicep injury ? Wow ! I wonder if the ink dried on Tuits contract yet ?

    Fudge.

Any chance of a Rod Woodson type story where he comes back for Super Bowl?

Last guy I remember tearing a bicep early was BJ Raji from GB, and his season was lost. Not good news

Heyward's injury was a torn pectoral muscle.
