Tuitt was limited yesterday, but practiced fully today, so that should be a good sign moving toward playing on Sunday.

Allen was the same.

 

Sweet! Now lets limit him a little bit in his first game back; we don't need him out there for 95% of the defensive snaps with McClendon swapping in at DE.

 

And get rid of Cant Thomas. I mean this guy is awful. I do not think for one second it's any coincidence that the defense had a good game against the Bengals with Cam gettting less snaps

 

or that they had a good game by being aggressive in attacking either.

 

I suppose that's a distinct possibility but I think Cam is going to get less snaps as time passes so if the defense is able to stop the run and they are effective against the Raiders it may mean less snaps is the difference maker

 

Well yes less snaps for Can't is always the plan but I meant they also had a bounce back game after sitting back against the Chiefs.

 

Oh yeah sorry. I see what your saying. They certainly did have a bounce back game. I like the speed of this defense when they are all healthy. It's too difficult right now though to know precisely what combination works the best unless we have everyone back, healthy and playing together. I understand that Allen is coming back for Sunday.. Not sure how I feel about that.

 

I think Golden has played surprisingly well and my hope is that they ease Allen back in as well. However with guys getting their first start and first NFL action they may go with the old vet has to play mode just for what they think stabilizes the team.

 

True and good point. I like what Golden is doing as well .. I think it's time for him to **** or get off the pot.. He has been around the system now what 3 years?

As for Allen he is getting paid a kings ransom to be sidelined so I guess there is no option then to play him right. As Tomlin as said previously you don't lose your job because of injury.

 

As a buckeye fan this hurts, but Golden is just flat out better than Allen. Injury most certainly can help you lose your job, and I hope it is the case in this instance. Allen resumes his intended role of 3rd safety.

As for tuitt, the last two weeks getting run on is a little indication of how much we miss him. He's a beast rushing the passer too. It will be a big boost if we get him back

Remember when Ben's little girl was due and everyone was offering opinions on how to get that kid out before he missed a game.

 

A day early would be great! Saturday afternoon delivery gets his mind cleared for a great game vs the Raiders.

 

Finally the coaching staff did the right thing and used McClendon where he should be, at DE. So now they have a positive rotation. Anything to keep Tomato Cam Thomas off the field! McClendon can also spell McCullers.

Let's hope Tuitt can get on the field this week. He is a beast.
