the forgotten guy in this is wormley. he played well for us this year. he and loudermilk did well. another is carl davis. if he is healthy this year we could be in good shape actually. alualu back and a signing of adams and we could really do without tuitt. he has never played a full season for us. it would be nice to have him here but..... availability is needed. he and bush are two spots that we need to fix one way or another. lots of money for little return from these two. they are unknown and leave big voids in this defense. witherspoon and adams seem like must sign guys. UG3 is in a spot of decision as well. i'd be looking to sign killebrew too for some insurance. shouldn't cost a lot either.

 

This case is strange cuz we don't know where his head is at. Is he rehabbing 100% every day as you need to or is he off n on w it?

In.most cases players r hitting the rehab hard but no idea where he is at

Imo they need to sign a Hicks or the like in FA JIC. Sounds like Steelers don't know where he is at either

Wormley Loudermilk are very solid Rotational pieces but this Def NEEEDS stud dl IMO

 

While You are correct....D. Bush was never at his position what Tuitt was at his. One was just starting 2 get good...While the other was one of the best at His position.
Yes Steelers need 2 know where Tuitt stands, but if He can comeback its a huge boost 2 our Dline.

 

As long as the Steelers know what Tuitt's situation is, it is probably in their best interest not to advertise it.
That might upset fans that want to know more... too bad.

If they intend to bring in a free agent DL, contract negotiations will go smoother if Tuitt is still on the team's roster.
(The player's agent has more leverage if they think the team is desperate for a player).

 

Hopefully Steelers realize this. Man I hope Tuitt is back, and ready 2 play.

Yeah, it sounded like exactly what I did NOT want to hear; that he's not entirely certain. Could just be the wording there or how I interpreted it. Regardless, I sure hope the FO knows what's up.

I don't love that as fans, we don't have any clarity on this, but that part isn't a huge deal. The team deserves some clarity before March 16, when they can start signing free agents. Tuitt owes the team that much. I get that he went through something awful, but they paid him to do nothing for an entire season. It's time to make a damn decision.

 

if we get him back with tuitt, cam, loudermilk and wormley, alualu and signing adams, i would say we have a very, very good d-line. now move back to the guys behind them and start adding players.
