How in the world was Ben's "fumble" not ruled an incompletion based on the infamous Tuck Rule?

According to NFL Rule 3, Section 22, Article 2, Note 2, it is when an offensive player is holding the ball to pass it forward. Any intentional forward movement of his arm starts a forward pass, even if the player loses possession of the ball as he is attempting to tuck it back toward his body.

It was ruled an incompletion on the field. How could this possibly have been overturned based on the rulebook? I had way more of an issue with this than the spike which IMHO did seem to hit the ground just before the double 00s.

Actually, you are correct. My bad! I didn't realize they had changed the rule. Guess I learned something!
