TTF, a suggestion for next season

After all Steelers losses shut the board down for 12 hours. Some of these knee jerk reaction threads are just plain silly. I think certain people need a cooling off period.

 

What the hell is the point of a message board that doesn't allow people to actually express themselves?

If TTF did that I would go to a different site and would stop coming here, as I'm sure a lot of other people would too. You can't run a message board like that. If you don't like the responses, perhaps you should not come here for 12 hours after a loss, or just don't read those posts

 

I think that should be in part, a purpose of the board - to allow venting.

If no one had any frustration or anything to say, why have a board? Just watch the game then.

If the opinions don't agree with your own, it does not make them wrong. People shouldn't have to sit around and kiss Ben or Tomlin's asses right now.

This season was absurd.

Some people should definitely take a long walk first though. Some of the things written are silly.

 

Even though I don't agree with you, that's what message boards are for, venting. My GF doesn't care one bit about football and has no interest in listening to me vent about the Steelers, so instead I come here and vent.

There's a lot of us who aren't making knee jerk reactions. Anything you read from me right now is something I've been saying at least all year long, if not for years. Ben is a problem. Tomlin is a problem. I've been saying those things for years and will continue to say them. There's nothing knee jerk about it

 

Venting is very therapeutic. And you've got to admit, some of the posts are pretty entertaining. I may read some of my posts tomorrow and think did I really write that, but I am starting to feel a little better.

 

also fueled by gallons of alcohol,i think TTF is doing a service to society so these people don't go outside .

My girlfriend brough me my head phones for the Cooler Talk and locked herself in the other bedroom. She said let me know when you have gotten it out of your system. I said, I will talk to you when training camp opens - hopefully.

I enjoy them as well. i think Streisand sang a song about mammaries and the way they were.
