    I guess the Steelers are like most other team's, trying to get younger and cheaper.

    Simply filler to round out the 90 man roster....
    Whichever one gets signed will be gone in the first round of cuts

    Been a while since a team has found a player among those ranks, but sometimes you do.

    I remember the "walk-on tryout" days.

    In 2019 they signed 6 players from Alliance of American Football. Back then the Steelers were in cap hell, so they were definitely bargain basement hunting.

    Doug Costin just signed per NBC sports. 6'2" 295, 24 years old from Miami Ohio.
