Try to stay calm

Yellow fellow Steeler Fans. I know a lot you will be disappointed but I won't be able to join you here tomorrow for my insightful analysis of the game.
I'll have to go up to the local sports bar to watch the game. Watching it on the computer won't cut it. I want this game bad. I am a critical SOB but hope that Ben & co. proves me wrong tomorrow.

 

Yep, I think I might sit this one out too. I did't participate in last weeks game day thread and may sit this one out too. Not sure yet if I enjoy the game more with or without participating in the game day thread.

 

I'll be here, it's kind of odd watching the game without reading the GDT, I tried during the SD game

 

I'm not gonna get to either tomorrow because I have to go to a Christmas thing at 2 and I'm gonna get out of there as quick as I possibly can but I won't be able to catch up to the game on dvr to join the chat. When my wife's dad changed his plans til tomorrow at 2 he did it without even thinking about the fact I HAVE to watch this game! What is wrong with people!? Dang that's annoying! My wife said "Oh man he didn't even think about the fact that you have to watch the game tomorrow!" I was like "Yeah! I know! And this game means EVERYTHING!" But HOPEFULLY by the time I have to leave to go to their house we will be up so bad that I won't have to sit there and worry too bad. Fat chance. I know.

 

Could be worse BFT, My son has been sick with the flu for the last two days, throwing up and pooing everywhere. Now the wife has come down with it so when she gets home from Christmas at her brothers I will be taking care of her as well. So I will get to have the game on my computer tomorrow and can pay attention to it in between cleaning and taking care of them. I don't mind though I don't have that strong connectin to the team this year that I normally have. It is strange just sort of detached feeling. I get excited watching the game but just nothing beyond that. Have to see if they make the playoffs maybe I will be bothered more by missing games.

 

Man I hate to hear that they have the flu this close to Christmas. I've been seeing this is supposed to be a really bad flu season. Today I saw that they are actually giving tamiflu to 2 week old kids!!! I couldn't BELIEVE that! They said this season could actually go in to March. But hopefully you get to catch a little of the game. Might be a good thing you're feeling a little distant this year. As if cleaning up poop aint bad enough I'm sure cleaning up poop while being mad about a game would be the worst!
