Randy Fichtner was the offensive coordinator when Rudolph got most of his playing time in 2019, not Canada. I think it is interesting that so many people arguing for Rudolph have the facts wrong.

Trubisky is much more mobile than Rudolph. He has more experience. He had more success in the league than Rudolph had going into this season. Those things aren't nothing.

We were 29th in rushing offense in 2019 the Year Mason played most.
Lowest I couldn't find in 2018 for Trubisky best year was they were 6th.

That's all He is better at. Yes ....He's more Mobile. So if We were talking RBs , or Wrs I would say that's great, but We are talking Qbs.....So ......I don't care about it. Most Mobile Qb in the league is hurt again for His 2nd year. Hurts who is Mobile...just got hurt. The best 2 Mobile Qbs so far in the NFL are Cam,and M. Vick .....out of a combined 24 seasons.....they have a combination of 5 playoffs wins together, and No SB wins.

The lowest you could find is inaccurate. The Bears were 11th in rushing in 2018.

I can't find it. I look at one place, and they said 3rd.
So I looked at another, and they said 6th. So I said 5, or 6th. LoL

Mobility is not his only advantage. He entered the season with more success. He had actually made it through two years as an NFL starter, one of those leading his team to a division championship. Rudolph was handed the quarterback job for a team with an outstanding defense. He got hurt, then after he returned, he was benched for a rookie free agent because he was playing poorly.

Trubisky had more success in the NFL and a lot more experience than Rudolph coming into this season.

Your research skills must not be very good. I found it in 10 seconds.

    https://www.nfl.com/stats/team-stats/offense/rushing/2018/reg/all

They were 11th in total rushing yards in 2018, but 26th in yards per carry.

I don’t what you consider quality but Trubinski’s time in Chicago was far from quality otherwise Bears wouldn’t have given up on their overall no 1 pick. Fichtner was probably worse than Canada as the later has had some success at Pitt. Where is Fitch coaching now? We know what Trubisky is by his lengthy enough body of work. Rudolph really hasn’t got a fair shot after he was knocked unconscious. He came back too early and didn’t have any sort of talent around him. I need to see him start additional 3-4 games before I label him a bum. My decision on him is …..not enough data but leaning towards a bum.

More experience Yes. The other We will have to disagree.
.. I've watched Trubisky as a Bear(I never did as a Bill), and none of the Bears success was because of Him.

The Bears had Nagy there to ruin the offense. He was another of those guys who got credit for an offense that he didn't really run in Kansas City. Andy Reid runs that offense. Then he was a mess in Chicago. So Trubisky had lousy coaching, too.

Look at his 2018 season. He wasn't great, but he was solid despite a thin group of receivers. I would have certainly taken comparable production for this season, but he didn't provide it.

Well, some anonymous guy on a message board wrote it, so he must have sucked in spite of solid numbers and his team's success. His 2018 was a hell of a lot better than Rudolph's 2019. One guy produced at a mediocre level. The other was well below that line, bad enough that he was benched for Duck Hodges. I'm not saying Trubisky was good, just that he was better than Rudolph, which is a very low bar.

Look at their career statistics. I will use ratios rather than totals because of how much more Trubisky has played.

Trubisky has a higher completion percentage (64.2 to 61.5), with a higher yards per attempt (6.7 to 6.2) and a lower interception percentage (2.4 to 2.9). Rudolph does have a slightly better touchdown percentage (4.2 to 3.9). Trubisky's touchdown percentage was 4.1 with the Bears.

No ....because I watched Him. I just didn't go by stats. I'm from Chicago....so when the Steelers aren't playing I watch the Bears. I'm a Steelers fan because of My Father's, and His family is from Pittsburgh. That's how that happened.
Yeah teams Draft a Qb number 2 over all ,and let Him go because He was great.
Like I said ..My family likes to say... Trubisky is their payback for Kordell.

Either way, your numbers were way off. I'd take your point of view more seriously if you had your facts right, or at least acknowledged when you got it wrong.

I never suggested he was great, or even good, just that he is better than Rudolph. The numbers back that up.

I never argued that he was good, but he was better than Rudolph. As I wrote previously, it is a low bar.

Trubisky was with Chicago 2017-2020. The Bears’ rushing offense (yards/game) ranked 16th, 11th, 27th and 25th, respectively.

They also had very little at receiver. Their top target in 2018 was Taylor Gabriel. Allen Robinson was decent, but he didn't have great numbers that year. Their leading rusher, Jordan Howard, only averaged 3.7 yards per carry. Tarik Cohen was a good weapon for them as a runner and receiver, but he wasn't even on the field the majority of the time.

Do speak to anyone about when they are wrong. No matter how wrong You are,and know You are You will still argue it. Everyone on the board knows this.
Yes I was wrong about the ranking. Still is 11 isn't close to 29. Shall I dig up how great You said Trubisky would do Here, or will You argue about How You never even hinted at that....,or how You said Canada just needed a athletic Qb to run His system???
