The bears went 12-4 that year. Trubisky had a pretty good year. What I'm trying to get at is he can play at a high level. Maybe he takes us 12-4 this year,I hope he does. Anything is possible.

I don’t see 12-4 with this schedule but you’re very optimistic.

That was a strange season for Bear fans. They helped the Eagles get into Playoffs and then lost to them in the Playoff game. I don't think Trub was anything special in that Playoff game but can't remember.

It will be hard to watch. Mitch will try his best, he really will, but the amount of incompletions and interceptions will consume him. Once at 0-3, Tomlin will make the QB change.

Bears had the no. 1 defense that year and the no. 21 offense. If this year's Steelers D can overachieve and rank in the top 5, I wouldn’t be surprised if we end up 11-6 or 12-5

And the bears defense were first in turnovers, the reason why they were top 10 in scoring

Really? Are we talking about the same Guy? Looks pretty pretty decent to me, On an Offense that was a lot less talented than this one

I think Mitch will be okay. At some point this year Pickett is going to take over IMO. Could be do to injury, could be do to poor play and needing a spark. Either way once Kenny takes over I think he plays well enough to keep the job.

I don’t think we get to see Pickett this year unless Mitch gets injured. I think they are planning on redshirting Kenny.

Either that or they are 0-6 or some terrible record like that and they will make the switch.

They made Mitch captain, he’s going to get a long leash. Pretty sure the plan is to have him start the whole year.

Im waiting for some podcast host or former player to make the statement that Mason, Mitch and Kenny all look like they were plucked out of central casting and then Ben chimes in wait until they play the Ravens 3 times in one year and they get their nose broke then we can talk about how good they look.

    Wait a Minute ....LoL
Ben had 20 tds, 10 ints, and 3740 yards, and He was done(which I totally agree with), but Trubisky best year (the year the Bears defense lead in almost every category)was...24 tds, and 12 ints with 3223 yards , and He looks pretty good....Am I living in bizarro world now. This is not hating this is being real now. How do You figure????

Um where did He say put in Mason.....I don't believe anyone Here thinks Mason should start over Pickett unless it's in an emergency situation.

I think people don't realize what Mitch has done. Nor how he got everyone together several time to train in Florida.

The interview with Mason today rubs me the wrong way. I went from mason should be #2 for the first couple games, simply because he knows the playbook better. To now I would trade him to any nfc team for a late round pick and to get him off the books.

In fact if I was in the locker room, I would have gave him a mop and bucket and told him just incase the waterworks come out any more, to put that into the bucket and give it to his momma. Because no one in the locker room needs to hear drama, specially not from a #3 QB...... #3 QB who was given several opportunities when Ben went down. Denied the chance to train with almost the entire team in Florida at Mitch's house. Paid a big contract for a #3. Started pre season as #2 and was outperformed by pickett who had worse receivers (receivers who had no chance to making the team).

Lot of starters didn't show up 2 that. So should we not start them???....and We also lost a player at that, or near the camp after He went.
I pray Trubisky does well, because I'm a Steelers fan, and We won't win much without Him doing well,, but the man's best year ever is No better than Ben's last year, and He(Ben) was done.....,and I don't want 2 hear about the Bears offense....because they Had the best Defense in almost each ,and every category that year....including forced turn overs. Again I swear I hope I'm wrong, but I don't think sprinkling Steelers magic dust on Trubisky will all of a sudden make Him a great Qb.

Johnson, claypool, pickens, olszweski are better WR than bears.

    2017
Kennel wright was a declining WR. 614 yards
    Tarik Cohen a RB.
Josh bellamy a WR that ceiling would be the bench with us.
Dontrell inman a WR that was traded in 8 games.

    2018
Tarik cohen.... again a RB lead the team with receptions and almost yards
Taylor Gabriel WR who played with Ryan. Yet trubisky got him more yards this year than Ryan.
Allen Robinson only receiver who had seasons of over 1000 yards. And 2018 who on pace but injuries happened. 2019 he got to over 1100.

2019. Pretty much like 2018 and I don't feel like breaking it down. But Allen Robinson was the only notable man's before and after trubisky.

So yep, i say steeler dust of better WR will have him looking better than big ben last few years.

I am cheering trubisky on. I am a Steelers fan and I have to support my starting quarterback. He has to take care of the ball. My only drawback on him I think he holds onto the ball to much.
