Is he in a rehab program. I have not heard anyone talk about him lately. If and when he does come back. How effective do you think he will be considering he lasted not even one quarter with that bum calf. I hate to see all that talent standing on the sidelines spitting sunflower shells on the ground.

Not sure why he wouldn't be rehabing.

i wouldn't expect much from him when he comes back, he didn't play that well last season when he was healthy. The team is being cautious.

Sometimes no news is good news. I haven't heard anything, but if we keep playing good ball, I don't think we will see much of him until he is definitely 100%!

    Me too.

But it will be nice when (IF) he comes back. If the D can continue to play at a high level without him, his return will help greatly.

But will it? I mean, Troy is great in run defence, but he's a pretty big liability in the passing game. Either he picks off the ball (not happening as much as it used to) or he gets burned. He's not making the same plays he used to, so I'm wondering if we're better off without him, IF, and only IF, we continue to defend the pass as well as we are.

Half of me wants to believe they are saving him for the end of the season the other half is believing that maybe he caught that dreaded Duce Staley syndrome.

You're wrong, we are not better off without him. And whats with the goofy spelling of defense?

Troy hasn't been making those plays because he has basically been playing hurt all the time now. Put him out there when he is healthy, truly healthy as in 100% and he upgrades this defense tremendously.

Come on man how can you compare DS to Troy? How many games did DS play for us?

Different countries spell words differently. Thought that was common sense.

I'm not comparing them I am just afraid that he might just the DS bug.

I do agree though that when he is out there at above 90% he makes the D that much better.

Let's fae it, a 100 % Troy us better than any safety in football, but I'm not sure a 75% Troy, which is what we've had for two years now, is better than a completely healthy Will Allen. I've got to hand it to Allen, he's played extremely well in both pass coverage and run support the last couple of weeks and if Troy isn't healthy don't rush him back. Keep him in the Deuce suit (sweats) on the sideline.

What are you guys basing this on? Warren Sapp? INT stats? Troy was fantastic last year in every phase of the game.

Picking on people from other countries because they talk/spell differently? Not my kind of humor I guess.

You using Shanners dictonary? Lol. I agree make sure he's close to 100% as possible unless Allen pulls a Mundy!

I would find it funny if it was anyone else. When it's meant to be funny, it's funny, when the person writing it is doing it just to be a prick, then it's not funny. Oh well, everyone's a tough guy on the internet I guess.

Lighten up, I didn't know he was from a different country. And I wasn't picking on anybody.

Let's fake, er, fade, er fate, er, fame, er... Can't remember the word I was looking for now. :)

Seriously, Allen has really impressed me with his play. He seems to be a heady player who always knows his assignment and is rarely out of position. Let's keep rolling with him for now.
