I'm with you on that pain med stuff dude. I hate taking it and if I hadn't been having really bad back spasms I wouldn't have taken it but just a few times after surgery but those spasms where INCREDIBLY painful and I just didn't have a choice. I've not taken one for a couple of weeks though but the muscle relaxers and that have just apparently slowed me down big time. I'm dying for these gas pains to go away! I do drink coffee a lot more when I'm at work and I've finally got to go back and hopefully that will do me some good.

I can see why she did it but I would have been pizzed too. I ran a pool for 5 of us for 8 years. One of the guys died and we let his daughter take his place. We played the same quick picks numbers for 26 draws. I always sent out a report when I renewed and they would send or bring me the 26 or 52 dollars. About year 6 I noticed one guys wife would talk at me not to me. Snarl at times. The last time I was supposed to play the numbers she said this was her last time. Why is it I (meaning me), hit the powerball two times the last period (won a whole 8 bucks) and her husband didn't win a penny and she was tired of donating money to me. I just laughed, handed him his 52 bucks back and said enjoy your wife's company. Told the rest of them it was over. I still can't believe that woman thought because her husband didn't win, she thought I made money.

I hear you. The back stuff can be ridiculous with pain. Here's hoping you get better. Are you doing any therapy yet?

I was but where I got my gallbladder took out the stretches they had me doing were aggravating the scars and causing the tissue to hurt and my dr told me to not do it for a while. The spasms have stopped but it is still pretty stiff. I saw the GI dr today and he gave me this medicine called like Linzess or something like that. It has me running I will tell you that. LOL. The dr told me that where I've been under a ton of stress lately it is not doing me any favors.

    I misread that as "laziness".

A shame, because if doctors were prescribing laziness, I wouldn't even have to pay for the prescription.

LOL!!! Well I can tell you that if you did take this medicine and it did to your butt what it is doing to my butt you would be getting the most exercise you've had in forever by running to the bathroom all day. I think I've actually ran a marathon right here in the house. LOL.

Stress is a bad thing. Docs say it might be the leading cause of most illnesses. Get that lowered, bro.

That's exactly what he told me. I actually resigned my pastorate Sunday morning and I feel like all of that has been beneficial to me. He said if it is Irritable Bowel Syndrome that reducing my stress will be the best thing for me. He said all the worrying I've been doing about what might actually be wrong has probably caused most of these GI issues.
