LOL!!! It's like that joke where the guy where his family didn't tell him happy birthday and then he went to work and his secretary did and on the way to lunch they stop at her house for a second and she tells him she wants to put on something more comfortable and leaves the room and in a few minutes comes back in with his whole family and they all jump out and say "SURPRISE!!!" and the guy is just sitting there in nothing but his socks. LOL!

Years ago I dated someone who told about 5 co workers who went in on weekly lottery tickets that they hit the jackpot of about 60 million dollars. She went and picked the same lottery numbers that had won the night before but obviously had the wrong date which nobody paid attention to. She let it go for about 5 minutes til everyone started calling their spouses and ready to quit work. I'm amazed to this day that she survived that cruel April fools joke.

LOL! I am a HUGE Andy Kaufman fan and I will tell you an April Fool's Joke I have always dreamed of pulling off but I just can't bring myself to do it. I've always wanted to have a buddy call UPS and tell them I died and then I would just show up to work. I would like to do it in honor of Andy Kaufman because so many people think that he faked his own death as a prank and that eventually he's gonna come out and tell everyone that he was only kidding. I WISH that would happen. LOL. I just can't bring myself to do that joke. In my younger days I would've though.

Sorry, you don't know me I haven't been on much for a while. Was out due to surgery and the off-season. Most of the stuff I put on here you have to take with a grain of salt. This is a place where I can discuss the team I love and, once in a while, escape the everyday grind. In answer to your question...no this conversation didn't take place. lol

Well this one did take place.
I was in Okinawa and sitting at the NCO club with another SGT friend of mine. I was to get married when I got back in the states which would have made it Sept. 1974 when I would get married. We were drinking and I said I hope my mother can make it cause she is in a wheelchair. Friend ask why and I said I threw her down the steps because she refused to pick me up a case of beer. We got back in the states before September and the same friend said he and his wife were going to drive from Camp leJeune to attend the wedding. I said good you already met my wife before we went to OKI. Then his wife ask, will your mom be able to make it? I looked at her kind of funny and my friend said, you know? the wheelchair? I started laughing and said I thought I told you that was a bs story. His wife smacked me, said she was thinking all kinds of bad things about me. It is 42 years later. My mom passed away 11 years back at the age of 86. He and I are still married to the same wives and I STILL DUCK EVERY TIME I SEE HER!!

She was so proud that she was able to pull it that off she was bragging how they always did the quick picks for the lottery and she had manually picked the numbers for the 3rd spot and held her thumb over the space that indicated QP so nobody could see it.
I told her many times that she's lucky she made it home that day. A couple people who knew what a prankster she was laughed it off but the other 2 never spoke to her again during the time she worked there.

I'm going to see a GI dr monday and hopefully they can get me back on the right track! The gallbladder part recovered fine but the scar tissue part still gets sore. The stupid pain meds they gave me messed up the regularity of my colon and has me really backed up. It is MISERABLE! If they can just get that fixed I'll be ready for the regular season!

Dude I've been taking miralax and gas x every day. I've eaten Taco Bell, pizza, beans and cornbread and everything. That dang pain medicine just REALLY messed me up! They told me it is common that it does that to people. I feel nauseous and sore and fatigued because of this and I am SO dang over it! The dr told me that gas pains can make you miserable. AMEN TO THAT!

I had hernia surgery. I'm back in action now...well, as much as I ever was! I am already chomping at the bits for the next season to start. At this point, I don't even care who we draft as long as they come in and help! I have my wishlist but they rarely pick my guys.

Get well, BFT. Pain meds are basically the devil. I have had more than 1 family member get totally addicted to them. I guess sometimes they are unavoidable, but if there is any way you can stay off them, even the mild ones, you are better off. That being said, about 6 months back, I got the flu, with fever, body chills, shots of pain going through bones - the works. (I never get sick, like once every 5 years tops.) But I was hurtin' and finally agreed to taking Aleve. Wow. That **** worked. It totally decreased my symptoms and allowed me to get some good sleep. I was pretty pleasantly surprised how well it helped. Blount, you drink coffee? That always loosens me up pretty quick.
