Troy P on with Mark Madden at 3:15pm

Just a heads up in case anyone wants to tune into listen. While I think Mark is an annoying head case 99.9% of the time, he does interview well. He is good at asking the tough questions and getting something better than the "Politically Correct" answers. Should be interesting. Mark is on 105.9 the X for anyone who doesn't know.

The interview will probably go something like this......

MM- So Troy why did the Steelers suck so bad for the first 4 games of the Season?
TP- Well the coaches all said to use my 20 lb. lifting technique in the offseason but we all know that the whole team doesn't have my God gifted ability. That was a miss on their part.

MM- What's up with Tomlin taking the team to London on a days rest?
TP- The organization once referred to me as Superman but when the Rooney's asked me about this trip they said Can Superman do it? Of coarse he can I said. Next thing I know they're all trying to hop on my back, I mean it's flattering and all but I really like being called the Tasmanian Devil instead.

MM - So what's it going to take to make the playoffs?
TP -Well I haven't been up on it but I've heard that we have to win and then earth quakes have to happen in the Fiji Islands, Mt. Rainier needs to be sunny and 85 degrees with no rain, and Ireland has to vote on Prohibition,.........So, I think there's small chance there.

MM - Will DL be back next season and can we expect the return of Blitzburgh in 2014?
TP - I will do everything my Superpowers allow me to do in order to hear Twas' the Night Before Christmas again one more time.

MM - How bout MT? Will he be back?
TP - Yes he will be back. Danny Smith already said so and I agree we need as much talent on the field as we can get.

MM - TH, I hear their are going to be many HC opening this season. Will he return?
TP - Well at the beginning of the season I would have told you no because of all the rotten tomatoes that people were bringing to the games but now those tomatoes have been replaced with blossoming roses. So I really think so.

TP - One more thing Mark. Please every body buy Head and Shoulders. It will make you look your best whether trying to be Superman or the TAZ.

Off topic a bit But I would love to over hear about 2 hours of conversation in a bar with MM and Pittsburgh Dad.

 

Thats because he is so disgustingly fat that he can't help it.

 

I think he's all act. He says things just to get your attention and tune in. He'll attack everything that positive and popular in Pittsburgh sports. Except Mario and Sydney of course.

 

Madden is disgusting, knows only

I don't care for Mark Madden. From the above posst, no one else does either. So how does he keep a job?

 

Everyone seemed to hate Howard Stern when he was new to the business, yet people tuned in. Love him or hate him, it doesn't matter, what matters is how many people listen to what he says. It seems like most people above who hate him listened anyway, that's how he has a job.

 

Madden is a blowhard who was fired by WCW and ESPN. Some of his comments have validity but the trolling aspect of his commentaries gets old fast.

 

He makes it no secret that he is a fan of Stern. And IMO that is exactly who he is trying to emulate. The raunchier and more controversial, the better.

 

At least Madden is edgy and has some personality, unlike (insert generic ESPN commentator here).
