I heard on the radio to day that a safety from the Broncos was going to the pro bowl in place of Troy. I heard no details as to why - anyone know?

Looks like he isn't playing due to an injury.

I read that he played with a calf injury in the playoffs and can't/won't go in the Pro Bowl.

I hope he jeals and finally takes up taylor on going to Florida to train. Ike is never hurt and in great shape could you imagine the beast he would be.

Troy needs to actually train. He would be unstoppable if he changed his training method.

Troy sat out some practices the last few weeks because of a calf injury so it's probably that. I do wish he would train in a more conventional way than the Marv Marinovich exercise vodoo stuff.

A lot of people say that the Pro Bowl is a waste of time but if you ever get a chance to see one live it's awesome. I was stationed in Hawaii in the Army and it was cool to see all the stars in one place. I'll show my age by saying which Steelers players were there. Barry Foster, Carlton Haselrig, Dermontti Dawson, Rod Woodson and the "QB who cannot be named."

I agree, I want him to train with Ike this off season too, but don't expect Troy to ever stay completely healthy. He plays a reckless style, Ike doesn't. I'm also not sure Troy has the frame to support the way he plays. He's likely always going to have injury problems. His style of play makes him great, but it also makes him prone to injury, so it's kind of a catch 22 situation
