Tribute to the 74 team

This win was a great tribute to the 1974 team, which was honored tonight.

Now, this year's team is nowhere near that one- but

if you are old enough to remember that team, or if you have read up on them at least-

The 74 Steelers won with depth- they won with multiple Qb's, multiple line combos, multiple Rb's (Franco was hurt part of the year), and multiple Db's. And so far, this 2024 Steelers are doing the same thing.

So, this beatdown of the Jets- preceded by a beatdown of the hated Raiders- has been a nice tribute to them.

 

The steelers in 1974 had 4 wins after 6 games(the only difference,it was 4-1-1 after 6 games) and they make a change at the QB position after the 6th game and they won the super bowl!

 

should have been a super bowl win in 76 as well. those dang injuries. good team that year.

 

Still say 76 best team minus injuries. Not sure but I'm betting no other team has come close to what our D did. In 9 games they gave up 28 total points with 5 shut-outs!!!!!!!!!

By the way we beat the KC Chiefs 45-0. Let's do that again
