Why are you comparing BB to Tomlin like they are on the same level?

 

I read that Sean Davis lined up as the #1 FS.

 

It doesn't matter about the level duh, both Tomlin and Belichick addressed the media at training camp and neither wanted to talk about last season.

Ben's turnovers were the killer that's for sure but there was plenty to dissect from the first game that they could have and should have cleaned up. Things coaching could prepare the players for. I hope all the Jags opponents this season realize that they will go for it on 4th and goal and the usual play is Fournette jumping over the line I know the Steelers better be ready for it.

 

Also, some of the people on here are looking for this magical thing for Tomlin to say of why they lost the way they did.

Sometimes it’s just that the other team was better. Their O-line dominated our D-line and linebackers. What exactly is Tomlin supposed to do? He can’t coach his way out of us being inferior. He can’t magically get Shazier up and walking or pull an All-pro LB off the streets. We were starting pure sh*t at LB.

People want him to take account for what happened in the playoffs last year. They came out and got their sh*t pushed in. I’m happy he wants to move on from it. I was in that stadium and it sucked being there and I don’t want to hear about it either.

The focus should be on this year and this year alone. Get better along the D-line and ILB positions.

Apparently Marcus Tucker getting reps with the 1s, not sure I’ll read too much into that.

 

I got a feeling Tucker knew he was very close to making this team last year and that motivated him to work his butt off to get over the hump. This kid could be a storyline for this camp. Punt returns from him will mean a lot if he can. Maybe they just want to see if he's made enough of an increase to be worthy of playing with starters on the field. Stay tuned folks.

 

or saying something like "we made some changes this off season to address some concerns and weaknesses after last years poor playoff performance..." because its not the same approach as its always been, changes need to be made from coaches to players, a little more humility might have been better, but it was just a moment, we will soon see how things go this season, I am optomistic but wary at the same time,

yeah I normally don't care what he says one way or the other Strummer, neither a fan or a hater but just something about the way he seemed aggravated by the question just bugged me yesterday.

It's the first practice and the media is already saying rudolph is the 4 QB, what a crock, he will get plenty of playing time in the pre season games thats a given....
