Not wanting the trade but if they do, I bet its for Landon Collins.

If they're going to trade up that much for Jalen Collins and show that interest, you think he would have came in for a visit pre-draft.

I hope we don't trade up though, that's 20 some picks to move up and that's pretty pricey.

Honestly, we're about a minute away... I'm not feeling it. The guys with the best value, I don't really want. Certainly not enough to trade up. And I feel good about who will be there at #56... I feel like even best-case-scenario, the sacrifice will be too big. Worst-case could be a disaster.

    :(

I agree. I'd be OK with trading a 4th to move up a handful of spots to secure a good corner, but a big move just seems unnecessary to me.

I agree. A lot of times I don't know for sure how I feel until something happens. I feel very relieved right now.

Not out of the woods, though. We could trade with any team. If we got outbid for #33, we might make the same offer to #34, or #35...

    Same.

Titans drop 7 spots for a 4th & 7th rounders.....Hmmm, not too bad for the Giants. I might offer a 4th & 7th to move say from 56 to say 46...if a Rowe was there.

Collins made better sense for the Giants than us. He will be an asset against Kelly's style run offense and Dallas' excellent run game. Even the Skins will probably need to go back to some read option stuff to win with RG3 at QB.

Skeptical of the tweets, I doubt the normally tight lipped Steelers let anything leak, they guard their draft strategy as if they are nuclear secrets.

Well if true, we can be certain it wasn't Maxx Williams they were after, since he lasted all the way to the pick prior to theirs. Plenty of chances to trade up and get him if that's who it was.

It couldn't have been Williams. Colbert said they inquired about trading up for Golson.

That means Williams was never the guy, and Golson was not some kind of panicked pick because Williams was stolen from us. They took Golson that high because they think he's worth it, and I'm inclined to agree. :)

Panicked, lol, I forgot about that draft day gem :lolol:

Colbert: "Oh crap, Rats stole Williams from us, why is our board blank beneath him??? Damn it! This is unacceptable, somebody get me a hat with some names, quick!"
