If they're smart the Colts will start Minshew. Richardson is nothing more than Jamarcus Russell with wheels.

For the Colts sake I hope Richardson has better study habits than JaMarcus did.

Yea lets trade Dotson now  I thought they would trade him during the draft and get a pick. You hold him now. Would you rather Kendrick Green :lolol:

Like other have said Why? No need to trade anyone or for that matter trade for someone. You wait.

    Haven't you heard?
The Steelers organization can't do anything right.
Hell, i wouldn't be surprised to find out Omar is a Patriot plant. Being bamboozled by Wicked Bill and Shafty Krafty again

At least Russell was pretty good in college. Richardson wasn't.

Richardson also only had 12 starts at Florida. He truly does not know what he does not know. Don't be so quick to pass judgement! :drinks:

Give em some time. Besides, he isn't working with just any HC. Shane Steichen is the Coach who fined tuned both Herbert and Hurts into what they were. I imagine he will do the same for Richardson.

Besides, Steichen has a lengthy history of working with some rock solid Offensive Coaches. Cannot say the same for Matt Canada.

I'm only saying what I saw. He wasn't very good in college, and actually held His team back. That is not up to me how many games He played. What I find funny is 20 years ago He would have been considered a project , and would not have been drafted in the 1st round....let alone the 4th pick of the draft.

Your right, he wasn't very good in college overall. However, that ridiculous level of promise, talent and potential he possess is just simply too difficult to ignore in today's NFL. Thank Lamar Jackson's 2019 NFL MVP Campaign for the Golden Age of the Dual Threat QB. As far as pure tools, talent and potential are concerned, what Richardson has is simply a one of one type of capability.

The skill, discipline and fundamental aspects though that you mentioned are areas he needs serious fine tuning in. Of that there is no question. However, as I am sure that @Blast Furnace@Blast Furnace has stated to you, Super Freak type QBs like Richardson will always be overdrafted for while the bust rate is exceedingly high, should Richardson be a hit?!?!....

..... you are talking about the Colts returning to prominence in a massive way.. very quickly. Of course... this is under the assumption Richardson hits. Nothing is set in stone.

The story goes the Raiders knew Russell wasn't studying the tape, after a while they gave him blank VHS tapes to take home .

The risk/reward, getting real time experience vs. sitting and learning is always a gamble. From what I have heard on several radio shows Minshew has been an ultimate pro and mentor to Richardson. The fear is putting him in and risking long term damage either physically, emotionally, or both. I don't know how good their O line is, I do know a young guy who takes off running often is at a much higher risk for leg injury. The prudent thing would be to start Minshew and communicate to both that at some point this season the reins will likely pass, but also in the best interests of the team, in a relatively weak division if the team is winning they might stay the course while Richardson continues to learn. I'm not a billionaire or an apparent alcoholic that owns an NFL team, so I guess he would know best, lol.

I can think of a couple of players I would like
To see moved. And believe they may bring back some late draft picks.

Hopefully Mitch balls out and theBills get all gooey eyed and Omar rams him up their arse or something for draft capital.

The Cards gave decent compensation for Dobbs. Not sure why we didn’t attempt to trade Rudolph or Trubisky to them

Trubisky makes a lot more money than Dobbs or Rudolph, so I doubt he held much appeal for the Cardinals. Dobbs is a better fit for their offense with his mobility. Also, having a third quarterback isn't a bad thing and Morgan is awful.

Back in the 1800's before embalming, it was possible for people who weren't dead to be buried alive accidentally. A patent was made that tied a string to the person in the graves index finger which led to a bell on top of the grave. If the buried person awoke in the grave he could ring the bell. 3 sayings came from that invention. The night watchmen in the cemetery was working the "graveyard shift." The buried person was called a "dead ringer" when he rang the bell and when he was rescued he was "saved by the bell". Patent 81,437 is one of several of these devices. (I'm a retired historian for the US Patent Office).
