    No - I predict they sign both Tebow and Sam this week for publicity - just to screw with everyone. Actually feel bad for Romo - that late win vs Giants last week was Ben-esque.

    I know this is kind of off topic but I just wanted to say I have a feeling that Landry Jones will develop into a serviceable QB for us in the future. Maybe it's a slow development issue for him and/or maybe that is the optimist in me. But I have a gut feeling.

    I didn't bring this thread up to spread Vick hate.
    I just think Steelers could get something good out of a trade to a desperate team that just lost their franchise QB hoping for the Playoffs.

    To me they would have to offer something substantial for us to give him up because that would leave us with no back up. I don't see them doing that with the season already started. It would take him a few weeks to get their system and learn their plays. Now if they offered a starting corner or a third round pick it would be bye bye Vick.

    The Steelers would then have to believe that Landry Jones is ready to be back up. I get what you are saying as I'm all for the right deal to benefit the Steelers. If Ben gets hurt (knock on wood that he doesn't) I'd be fine with LJ taking his lumps and learning, even though it'll be painful to watch. He is being groomed for a reason.
