Browns as an entire Organization is terrible. Starts with Jimmy Haslam. Buck stops with him.

I think about the only initiative Tomlin would have in going to NY is to be closer with his wife. NY is a hub for fashion shows n'at.

I agree that the broadcast booth makes the most sense; however, about the only potential job that makes sense is honestly Buffalo, assuming they fire McDermitt for failing in the playoffs or missing it completely.

Will never happen. Better odds of seeing Bigfoot driving a flying saucer.

Chuck Noll was never coach of the year (I believe). They asked him about and he said they usually are fired right after that.

Usually COY awards go to a coach who took a bad team and did OK with them for the first year he was there. But the team usually still has bad players the following year and they quickly revert to their losing ways.

Chas Noll started with a 1-13 perennial doormat and built a dynasty.

I dont see Tomlin sticking around where he isnt wanted. If he no longer had the Rooneys support, I think he do it as long as he likes the destination. He doesnt like the media so maybe that would be a turn off to him. NY media compared to Pittsburgh is like the Pacific Ocean to a mill pond.

FWIW, I don't think the Steelers are anywhere close to desperate.

While there are some press conference answers from Rooney that try to make it seem like there's some urgency, I think we're doing what the team wants.

If we go a couple years where we're out of the playoffs by week 12 or something, then maybe I think we'll get desperate.

But as long as we're competing for a playoff spot, I think that's the low end of acceptable for the team.
