When was the last time Omar was GM and needed a WR at the trade deadline?

I don't think we do anything either. But things have been different under Omar.

Wrs numbers have went up since Wilson took over… Steelers are fine, how many times have you seen Steelers wheel n deal in middle of season for players?

 

I'm only worried because of injuries. Seems like every week a different wr is out for the season

 

First off, my post wasn't directed at you, as in, "you" stop.
Simple.
The team has involved many players in the passing game.
Even when Fields was QB they went to many different targets. Some hit some missed, but I thought they just barely missed the completion. I have been impressed with the targets involved.
I feel the team are lethal on offense with the players they currently have and utilizing them, all of them. They've shown that. Including the 2 losses they had. These players are hungry.

The offense is looking much better with Russ. I'm hopeful it will continue to improve.


We are still settling for too many FGs. Against the Giants, Boz kicked for 14pts and Austin ran a punt back for 6 more.

Since the trade deadline is this Tuesday, we don't have the luxury of seeing how the third game with Russ improves before making a move or not. I think we need to be aggressive after this weeks games are complete and get another weapon.

Khan has had success in some areas and incompletes in others. The OTs drafted are incompletes at this point. Not getting a viable #2 WR is a miss at this point. D-line may turn out to be an Achilles heel for the defense. Stay tuned.

 

Have I said yet that I'd like to see us get Dexter Lawrence ??? The Giants don't need him anymore.

 

I hope Khan doesn't get stuck in a long line waiting to vote.

 

We would need to play a lot less Nickel to justify a trade for 'Sexy Dexy'.
