Never be satisfied with good (in this case average or below) when great (or just improving) may be available...Need to be better at the WR position

Btw,one of the best part of the Tomlin decision on the Wilson-Fields was that he wanted to be better even if Fields was fine and this is what I want...This is not what he did after 2022 on Matt Canada but look like he learn from that...Maybe!

Look on the brightside. Better he broke it before the trade than after. How many Wrs have been traded, or tried to be traded this year, and are out for injuries??

True, sucks though because Kirk would've been a really nice add in our offense. Would work the slot and outside. A Pickens/Kirk/Austin/Jefferson room would've been pretty nice.

    What about Adam Thielen?

He is old but I think he is still good and he was with a awful team in the last 2 years with the panthers but the price should be low to have him

Browns aren’t going anywhere this year. Heck, they can have a WR core consisting of Tyrek Hill, CeeDee Lamb and Justin Jefferson, but it’s going nowhere with Winston and Watson tossing the ball. That said, why not kick the tire to see if they are willing to part with Jeudy?

Thielen is 34 and injured, not interested he doesn't move the needle at all.

I can't see them trading within their division.

Exactly. He hasn't done much of anything this season. Williams isn't much better.

Slayton might be the only receiver left who would be worth it, which means the Giants will try to hold any team up for a ridiculous price. Yes, he had some bad luck with Kirk being injured, but Khan blew it on this one.

Loose a game so you trade a wide receiver

Is this the logic you using because I’m not following

Teams that are out of the playoff race will decide to make trades for the future sometimes, teams that are winning probably isn't trading away players.

The Raiders were done anyway, but Meyers is signed for next season, too, so I'm not sure they will be looking to move him.

there will be no WR coming, sorry to say. that ship sailed weeks ago.

We go to battle with what we have a ferocious battle it will be - hardest remaining schedule in the league, I am sure.....

separating of wheat from the chaff coming......

Yah it probably would have happened by now. Look how many WR were traded in the past 2/3/4 weeks.

correct - and many are on that 7th team seed bubble - they ain't trading no solid WR's away. Including the Bungles and the Doncos.

The Seahawks have been mentioned as sellers at the deadline by a couple sources. Maybe not the uber-expensive DK Metcalf, but any interest in Tyler Lockett?

If they do actually become sellers.

he is interesting, in that he and Russ are soul mates of sorts.

not sure what is left in his tank and what his price tag would be

but.....just checked - they are 4-4 on the bubble, they won't make a move. their division is soft, HECK - they can win that division. see what they do vs. the Rams today?

Hopefully we have something else in the works. We need to load up for the 2nd half of the season.

Nothing left that moves the needle. A signing would give some depth at best.

When was the last time (first, only,..) that Pittsburgh made a trade at/near the trade deadline.

Before we get all giggly n’ at with fantasies

Perhaps we try for Lockett (Seattle). Long-shot but a possibility.
