Didn’t see this posted, if it has, point it out and I’ll merge it.

Saw some talk about Steelers being interested in Dhop and Christian Kirk. Don’t know how much that moves the needle but they are better than what we have.

Hopefully what we saw from Austin last week is the start of his breakout, that would solve that problem.

DHop at 32 years old concerns me. We already have a young DHop in Pickens. Kirk is intriguing...is he a good route runner / possession WR? Looked at the stats quickly and his average is around 12 yards per reception. Not sure I'd want to break the bank on draft capital, but would be a nice addition.

What is the latest on Roman Wilson? I read that he was off the injury list, but did not play in week 3. So might we see him in action soon then? That may give us a bit of wr relief if he pans out.

Kirk’s cap hit for a new team would about $14.5 million (prorated for number of games) + some potential incentives in 2024 and $16.5 million in 2025 (also plus potential incentives).

I personally think we will be fine with what we got… unless we get a deal we cant refuse.
Than draft a wr next year.
Pickens is opening the field up for other wrs. In case… CA3 last week. Others will have their opportunities along with our TEs. So, yes, dont give up bank on getting another wr. #2 wr will work out on its own.

I've been hearing trade rumors about Davante Adams, would the Steelers be willing to give up a 2nd round pick for him? I know I would

Why not? He's better than anything the Steelers got right now (except for Pickens).

Austin never was a / the problem.

    Pickett and Canada were.

that was stated by yours truly and (some) others many times pre-season.

Hell - ABrown would have SUCKED playing in that 2022 and 2023 offense!

Dont think this is a possibility. Adams already stated if he was traded it would be to reunite with Rodgers.
Saying that, money talks. Depends on what Steelers offer him if the time comes to negotiate.

The guy was injured on the first day of padded practices during training camp. So he missed 90% of training camp and almost every practice since tc ended. It will probably be weeks before he sees the field.

This is why Kirk is right. He leaves his bonus money behind in Jacksonville, and still has 2024 and 2025 left on his contract.

He becomes an immediate #2, for the next 2 years, allowing Roman Wilson to develop into a starting roll

I think Van Jefferson needs to find the bench ASAP

I would have replied to this shocking headline. "The Steelers are expected to monitor the trade market as the trade deadline approaches"

    And ... Water is wet!
