I can't see any team throwing 15 million at him, he has been injured the last two years, and it was reported the Colts were looking to get a haul for Taylor similar to what the Panthers got for McCaffrey.

I would have been more specific, but since He had been on their team before....I figured everyone knew who I was referring to.

Never mind Johnathan Taylor not happening. I just don't think there are many, if any, good trading targets for the Steelers as it stands. Ideally a Center but how often are starter capable Centers available?! Very seldom.

In fact, sans FA signing, I don't remember a starting Center that has been traded in the last generation (20 years) of the NFL. I know there are some examples of other Offensive Line positions, like Offensive Tackle but very seldom are Centers ever traded.

    That's interesting.

The Colts have the cap space for it (only at $175MM next year), but given how the relationship reportedly soured and some flashes shown by Moss, I didn't think this bridge would be repaired. Best for both sides, though.

You just described every website out there, including NFL.com and ESPN.

Give someone a $42 million contract extension, including $26.5M guaranteed, and it's amazing how all-of-a-sudden everyone gets along famously. Ask Lamar Jackson and the Ravens.

No, it isn't. That is a lazy, inaccurate take. There are some things like that on many sites, but some are far worse than others. It also doesn't change the fact that the source was utter bull****.

It was always crap. The Steelers weren't trading for a player looking for a big payday, and adding a running back made no sense for them.

Looked like he was destined for another team. Kind of surprised the Colts gave him that.

Like taylor and he's definitely got talent but he's got a history of injury and for what he wants I'd pass. He wouldn't have the same success in Pittsburgh either under the current circumstances imo.

Congratulations, you just hit a new level of hypocrisy. Good for you. ESPN does just as many click attempts as any source.

Congratulations. You just hit a new level of ignorance. ESPN has its share of clickbait, but it also has some legitimate reporting. As I wrote in my previous response, there are sites that are far worse because all they offer is speculative clickbait. I'm not surprised that you don't know that.

I see you removed NFL.com from your comments. That site is biased and it often ignores stories that would make the league look bad, but PR-driven sites like that don't do as much speculative reporting. (That doesn't mean they don't have any.)

I'm sure you will go find links to some clickbait on both sites, which does not refute my point. They aren't devoid of such things. There are just sites that are worse.
