If Ben retires trade AB and Bryant for Flacco and Brandon Williams. In doing so we will aquire two stone cold patriot killers and it will cause the Rats to fall apart with three diva receivers.

I love this suggestion. It has the kind of Bellichick grace that Tomlin should be aspiring to.

We need to keep hold of Bryant, if he keeps off the grass the sky is the limit for him. I'm down trying to deal AB tho

I can see it now. Flacco would kill teams all season long with check downs to Bell. Bell has 100 catches, 2000 yards rushing and is league and super bowl MVP next year. Bell retires because we ran the wheels off of him. Then we bring in a fresh patriot killer in Ray Rice for 2018. I like it.

Flacco is horrible. He had one good season and cashed it in....The only reason he looked that good then was that great defense and the amazing Anquon Boldin. Flacco would just float it up there and let Boldin out jump and muscle the DB.

I honestly do not think Flacco is even a top 10 QB....maybe not top 15.

There is some form of metaphor here about getting off the grass and aiming for the sky...

Flacco's back-loaded contract is a cap killer. No thanks.

Kind of like the guy who pulled the Steelers hotel fire alarms said "I am drunk, I am an idiot, I am a Patriots fan" those are redundant.:roflmao:

Flacco is a monster in the playoffs. Look it up. It would be money well spent if he won the super bowl.

Now that I think about it this trade would blow up in our face. If we take Flacco from the Ravens it would mean we might have to face Ryan Mallett twice in one year, not good for us.

With some of the ridiculousness popping up on this site today I'm starting to think that Ben ONLY made this statement JUST to troll this site for whatever reason. I mean it's the ONLY explanation really!

Which beckons to question, would Boldin been a good pickup this past season? Me thinks he'll yeah in retrospect of course.

Boldin is a dude I would have killed to have seen in Black and Gold. He reminded me a lot of Hines in how dang tough he was. Remember when Warner hung him out to dry on a deep pass and he wound up with his jaw wired shut and was on the field like a week or so later? That dude was a beast and loved the game. HATED seeing him wearing that goofy looking purple.

Just having some fun BFT. I went from being optimistic about 17 to dreading it in the span of 48 hours. I wanted this team to just fall back in the shadows this off season but that's not going to happen.

If Bryant stays clean I'd keep him over AB if we had to pick IMHO. Randy moss Jr. and I don't see him being a diva and as into himself as AB. AB not congratulating and pouting after DeAgelos TD IN THE AFC CHAMPIONSHIP crossed the line for me.

With saying that, If AB grows up and becomes more of a team player, we will have some BIG decisions to make.

Yeah with someone like AB who is used to constant success I can understand getting frustrated. Throwing a fit when someone else besides you scores is unacceptable, especially with the way Brown lets loose when he scores. So many strange things going on. The Heyward article made it seem like we had our stuff together locker room wise. Fast forward three weeks later and it's high drama already.

Look at the pats WR... bunch of nobodies. Nobodies care for the teams success. Nobodies play 100% even when the ball isn't thrown to them to keep a spot on the team. Nobodies will be cut instantly after Facebook living a video.

I just hope we're not secretly a divided locker room. Ben has taken a couple of shots at the coaches, yet in the Heyward article him and Pouncey gave them strong praise. All three of those guys seem like they would be major figures in the locker room. could be something but I hope it's nothing.
