The Steelers were right to not give up a 4th and a 6th for a half of season rental player like Meyers.

Days after Danny Dimes got exposed, the Colts are going all in with him. Hmmm

I still expect the Colts to win their division though.

Yeah I was miffed when I saw the Colts traded for him and we’re trading for players like MVS until I saw what they gave up for Sauce.

Daniel Jones is like a boxer who looks great until he takes a good punch then falls apart. The Steelers punched him in the face repeatedly yesterday and now watch for the Danny Dimes collapse to start now.

But other teams probably won't shut down Taylor like the Steelers did.

It's really hard for me to believe we have so many picks over the next few years, along with cap space, and we'd be OK standing still. Gotta do something to improve the team.

Bold move by the Colts Sauce hasn't been good the last two years.

Well, MVS apparently is our solution.
Colts were banged up in the secondary and needed a centerpiece and they got one to help them towards the playoffs.
The Jags snag of Meyers is solid for them... I might have give up that if I could lock him in with a new contract for 3-years.
The Cowboys season is over so I don't understand that move, they should be sellers.
Ravens get Jones... they do have a shot and Jones isn't going to fix their defense, but he should help.
The wire is moving pretty quick.

They are either trying to win this season or they aren't. Khan created a huge hole at receiver when he traded Pickens and Valdes-Scantling is not a viable replacement.

Dugger looks like a good acquisition and a necessary one, but what this team really needed was a reliable receiver who runs good routes. That is Meyers. His skills would have been an excellent compliment for Metcalf, but Khan sat on his hands again.

It is fine to question the health (concussions), but meh is pretty wrong when you consider that Olave has performed as good if not better than GP did in Pitt with a similar poor QB situation in NO as it was here... Olave is a good player with the downside that he has had injury issues. Pickens was a good player with the downside that he has major personality issues. I think that their trade value (in a vacuum) is about the same when you consider the time Pickens was traded. They both would have one full season of being under contract before having to pay. It could be an investment opportunity, or it could be You could argue Pickens would be a tad more valuable given that his size and contested catch ability are things that you can't teach, but its Now, GP has gone to an obviously advantageous situation and has put up big time numbers (and is going to get himself paid). But that doesn't mean that Olave couldn't get away from a bad NO team and thrive in a different more advantageous situation.

I was a big proponent of not trading Pickens (even if we weren't planning on paying him), and have been certainly critical of the return for Pickens... but I don't want to overreact either. Pickens was a definite locker room issue, and it seems that we weren't willing to give him the long term big money contract so we off-loaded him. Personally I would've preferred to keep him and then let him walk (as I think that our moves indicated that we were trying to be competitive in the short term, and trading him hindered that approach), but I won't fret over it. He's a really good player, but I also can understand why we wouldn't want him on the team long term. He will get paid and he will perform well when things are going his way. When they aren't, he implodes mentally and that can be devastating for a team that actually wants to win something.

The Jaguars are already a decent team, adding Jakobi Meyers will make them a solid bet to make the playoffs.

Agree. I do that deal if it includes a negotiated 2-3 year extension at a typical value for a mid tier #2 receiver, but not for a half year rental.
