If you like Loveless you should check out spiritualized. Ladies and gentlemen we are floating in space is freaking epic. Probably best enjoyed in an altered state on a great system. Just so much going on. Their album Live at the royal Albert hall is incredible as well. Heck I love all of their records.

I'll have to check them out, thanks for the recommendation. Do you have a last fm account? This way I can see what other bands I'd like to check out.

We have pretty similar tastes in music. I'm a guitar player, and I have so many favorites that it's pretty tough for me to choose, but here is what I'm feeling right now:

    1. 1984
    2. Dark Side of the Moon
    3. OK Computer
    4. The Wall
    5. 5150
    6. The White Album
    7. Countdown to Extinction
    8. Kid A
    9. The 2nd Law
10 3 Sides to Every Story

These have always consistently been my favorite albums.

Great list, just got into radio head last year, always thought they were weird until my brother told me about them. I must have listened to OKC and KiD A at least 150 times the past year, so epic. I also started to check out other indie bands like Joy division, modest mouse, and elliott smith.

If you haven't listened to Muse, you might like them.

A friend of mine is a huge Muse fan. Several years ago they were playing a small venue here so we decided to go. They made it about two minutes into their first song and someone in the crowd hit the singers mic stand. It smacked him in the mouth and split his upper lip from the base of is nose all the way down. Needless to say the show ended right then and there. They came back out on stage to apologize a few minutes later. The singer was holding a rag up to his face trying to stop the bleeding to no avail. He pulled the rag away to speak and it just gushed blood. You could see the split clearly.

That' a tough list to produce. All I know, on mine, there would be 3-4 Pink Floyd albums on it.

My tastes kind of vary a little bit, depending upon my mood. That being said, it makes it a little difficult to narrow it down a bit to just ten. But, if I had to pick, these would be my ten:

    Weird Al Yankovic (self titled)
    The Offspring - Americana
The Black Crowes - The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion
The Smashing Pumpkins - Siamese Dream
    Eric Clapton - Journeyman
Beastie Boys - Licensed to Ill
Van Halen - Diver Down (kind of a tossup between this and their self titled album, but I went with the album that get less commercial airplay)
    Boston (self titled)
    N.W.A - Straight Outta Compton
Aerosmith - Toys in the Attic

If you like Siamese Dream check out their first record Gish and first ep Lull. Personally I prefer both over anything else they've done.

I like Gish as well, but for some reason I've always been more fond of Siamese Dream. Probably because I didn't hear Gish till years after I heard Siamese Dream (during my last year of high school, which probably where a lot of music people really connect to comes from).
