I want Bell as 1 and Conner 2 along with AB and Ben. It's our way of getting Lombardi #7 in 2020.

I'm in the minority here for sure, but I'm just not sold on Samuels. The Steelers love him so it doesn't matter what I think, but he's a solid #2 in their eyes (I'd prefer to see a little more burst back there). Either way I don't think they address the position until round 6 if at all. Unless we get some mid rounders in a trade, I think they go the FA route.

I agree they can use a HR threat. I'm also counting on Samuels to take the next step in his conditioning similar to what Bell and Conner did in their second season. That will help his elusiveness and burst a lot.

I think the #1 thing Samuels needs to develop is pass protection, both identifying who he needs to block and executing it. Further conditioning (like Conner, and Bell before him) would also be great, but it won’t matter if he keeps getting Ben dumped on his butt.

I agree, and I think that will come. Most rookie running backs have to learn that. He is doubly learning though. The position itself and all the things that come with it. He made some big strides last year. He has good hands and his burst surprised me. He will be ok. I'm pretty excited about our replacement of help so far.

I agree. I think he’ll get it and be a solid all around back.

Not that I'm looking to re-create the 2017 Oklahoma St Offens, but I think Justice Hill is worth a look.

I think we are set at 1-2 with Conner and Samuels. I am very high on both. BUT we could use a bit more of a game breaker with top end speed and that is Hill.

Justice Hill took a little step back in 2918 after a monster 2017. Although his yards per attempt actually went up this past year, he was just utilized less.

Hill should run in the 4.4 range at 5'10 190. Probably a 3rd rounder but would be a nice complement back to our current stable.

Me and my "tag team partner " have talked about the RB position and my stance is there are a lot of good RB's out there in the 6th and later that could help us a ton. Love and Brossette to name a couple. I don't want to use a top 4 pick at RB with all our other needs, jmo.

I likely agree. I'm just saying he could be a potential option.

I don't foresee a scenario where my top 3 picks in my eventual mock won't all be on the defense.

Yes it could be a option for sure I am just thinking since we are set at 1 and 2 and the value later in the draft I don't want one. I really like Bryce Love a ton in like the 6th but also like Pollard and Brossette. If you can find it check out Brossette's TD catch in the shrine game. He ran a wheel route and made a nice over the shoulder catch. That imo is something we could use.

David Montgomery and Connor would be something to get excited about.

I remember really liking Myles Gaskin as a quicker, faster back during the season. I haven’t watched any of his games since though. I do see him projected as a late rounder, which is where I’d like to see us go RB.

I was watching some film on Iowa S Amani Hooker. They were playing Iowa St. I really like David Montgomery, he caught my eye some last year. And the Iowa game, even though it was highlighting Hooker kept drawing me to Montgomery. Dude's a stud. I would like a different type of back like NB said, but dang that guy is a player and I wouldn't be upset if they called his name.

I believe the Steelers will pick up an experienced veteran RB in Fa.
