This is about the thousandth top ten Steeler list that has been listed. The thing is you could list the top 30 and still leave a lot of great players off the list.

Need a couple of those guys to come out of retirement and play or coach for this team, especially on defense.

 

It's a good as list as any. Hard to compare players from different era's as each era had its strengths and weaknesses vs the other era's. I think it's natural to rate players higher from the era that we're more fond of. It'll be interesting to see where TJ Watt and Cam Heyward will be listed 20 years from now. I'd like to see guys like Dirt Dawson and Alan Fanaca listed as well. But it is what it is. Steelers have a great history that I enjoyed greatly.
