Top 10 Defensive Players of all time

    Sanders is one of the great corners in NFL history. He is not among the top 10 defenders in league history, but you vastly underrate him.

    I am not a fan of Deion Sanders but to said that he don't belong in the HOF is just crazy!.He is still one of the best CB of all-time even if I prefer player like Rod Woodson

    I just have a hard time thinking anyone belongs in the HOF when they were really good at part of their game and poor at another

    For the HOF you should be the complete package

    That’s why I didn’t vote for him

    The primary job of a cornerback is to keep their guy from catching the ball. There hasn't been a cornerback who was better at that job than Sanders since the league passed the Mel Blount Rule. He was also so dangerous intercepting and returning passes that quarterbacks often avoided throwing anywhere near the guy. There were times he seemed to cut the field in half. In other words, he wasn't just really good at part of his game. He was dominant, more than enough to cover for him being relatively weak as a tackler.
