The Najee Harris disrespect is real , this list is trash, Kamara at this point isn't better than Najee and Pollard hasn't done anything as a #1 RB. Breece Hall didn't even play his full rookie season but he gets honorable mention over Najee . I know these lists are out just because it's a slow time in the league, it gives fans and media something to talk about.

I'd put Najee about 7th right now. I believe He will be Top 3 after this year though.

I remember when we had a great fear for our RB's due to bad O-line.

I was watching some old steeler games on YT from the 78, 79 season. In some games the back ups after Franco and Rocky looked like they could start for anybody. It was the line mostly, damn I miss those days.

Beyond Nagee and and what looks like a very decent Jaylon Warren we really do not know that we have, The line looked much better as last season went on, and nagee looked damn good as he got healthy.

Id put Najee around 12. I think he could break the top 10 this year. I guess this Robinson is a can’t miss superstar for Atlanta. Hate putting a rookie that high but apparently he’s that good.

There are clear cut better RBs like Mccaf Ekler Barkley Taylor Chubb Jacobs and Henry (although Henry could hit a wall this year)

I think he’s fighting with guys like Pollard (going to be a stud) breece Hall and Stevenson for that 9-12

Najee is better than his statistics, but I think lists like this one are going to devalue someone like Harris. I'm not surprised he isn't in the top 10 for this list. He has a great opportunity to really up his value and standing among RB's this year. Should be a much improved OL and offense as a whole. We should be seeing opportunities for him to score and better opportunities for him to turn his rushes into bigger gains.

    I see him somewhere around 1200-1300 yards with a 4.5 YPC and like 10-12 TD's. 40 catches for 250 yds and 3 more TD's

Warren will help lessen his carry load, but the YPC will surely go up this season.

Would be surprised if Najee isn’t in the top 10 next year. He is underrated for a few reasons. He has been running behind a bad line since he has come in to the league and was getting tackled behind the line of scrimmage far too often. He also lacks that explosive speed, I can’t remember many breakaway runs since he came in to the NFL. He was also clearly playing hurt a lot of last year.

Hopefully we see a much better line and a much better passing game with KP in year 2. That will really open things up for Najee and allow him to reach his potential. Please god he stays healthy.

If he doesnt hesitant like he did in the beginning of last year he might make make the top ten. Agree he doesnt have the explosive that you would like to see.

This isn’t a list made by some blogger, this was voted on by executives, players, coaches and scouts.

Harris benefits from an enormous workload, more touches than any RB over the last two seasons. Until he gets his YPC up, he won’t be seen as one of the top backs.

I think he’ll get that respect this year, I feel he is going to have a big season.

Najee isn't a home run hitter, your not gonna see many 25+ runs out of him

But he's decent enough to be on the list.

If he can avoid an injury. Lisfranc isn't a good one to have. That usually will cost most players especially a RB a whole season.

    But, he played through it.

I think will a lot of investment in the O-Line and good health, and the trust the offense has with Jaylen Warren will just make him better.

Plus this guy has had to play 2 years in an offense, where defenses keep 7,8.9 up in the box, because they know they offense won't throw deep.
Weather its an aging Big Ben with a bad elbow, or a Rookie QB who was limited in his offense of scheme on purpose.

Dale Lolley and Matt Williamson had stats this week showing that he was running in to 7-8 man boxes more than any other running back so his YPC was always going to suffer. Steelers haven’t had a downfield passing game since Najee was drafted so teams can push up without fear of being burned over the top. In spite of this he had very few negative runs. He is a bit of a plodder but a very very good back that’s rarely ever fumbles and rarely ever misses games.

I agree that it’s definitely contributing to him being a bit underrated. Fingers crossed he had a huge year in 2023

Thank You I brought this up, but I was laughed at about it. I actually brought it up during the season....it's what makes me wonder of people actually watch the games.

Not sure where they are getting that from but Henry faced 8 man fronts more than any other RB followed by Chubb. Chubbs YPC was 5.1 yards. Neither the Titans nor Browns passing attack struck fear into opposing defenses.

I think Najee is a very good RB that has been running behind a very poor offensive line since he got here. I believe that hinders him more than anything else. His yards before contact is probably worst in the league.

WIth an improved offensive line and year two for Pickett, things should open up for Harris.

Well I know I only watched 2 games of chubb, and a few of Henry, but I watched all of Najee, and I was bringing this up during the games.

His YPC did go up the second half of last season. He was held back tremendously by the foot injury. Also, the line wasn't very good early in the season, but they got a lot better as 2022 went along.

I agree. That's why I think it's important to see how he performs this season to get a better idea of how good he can really be before so many give up on him. If he doesn't impress, has nagging injuries again, or misses significant time, it's hard to imagine a big second contract in his future.

It's an important year for Najee Harris.

Every year is crucial in the very short careers of an NFL running back, especially one whose running style leads to taking a pounding like Harris.
