Tony Corrente assigned for today's game ???

If you google Tony Corrente. It's not good for Tony when you type his name and "Tony Corrente Bad Calls" pops up. THIS season is well documented. Last year wasn't good either.

Why would the NFL assign this crew to today's game is interesting. I don't get it.

When will the NFL Competition Commitee make up its mind on what is a catch?

 

Today will change the rule.
If an untouched receiver catching a ball fall to the ground, he would then be considered a runner at that point he is finally touched.

 

I think they need to let the refs determine if it’s a catch or not as they see it live, and if it is close, in any shape or form, the play stands as called. That way they aren’t deciding.

Much like when the whistle blows and a fumble that can’t be challenged.

 

The NFL rules commitee will get together and somehow make it even worse. Have you ever tried to look something up in the NFL rulebook? It's the most disorganized technical document I have ever read
