June 25th will be 40 years for me. Wife and I don't have children together. Now we are not rich but we are not poor either. We decided to have a 40th anniversary spend year. Again, not rich but if we both kick others will make out nicely with our $$$$. We booked like 5 Plays in the city and we'll spend the weekend. That is like 1200.00 weekend. We are making our deck a three season one which cost a bit. I said screw it and bought a 2023 new SUV. Wife got a 2022. Casino's, etc. etc.

Most likely come December 31st we are going to be broke and have to go back to work

 

That gave me a good chuckle. I golf with a guy who always tells this joke. He has been married 53 years. Then people do the usual wow, that's great, etc. Then he informs them with 4 wives.
