If you want to send them a new playbook feel obligated to do so. You know what they're working with and it's limited. I still don't know what that has to do with play calls outside of screenplays ran where the route tree should take them beyond the first down marker. I don't know if it's on the QB and receivers in those moments when they act like they don't know where the first down marker is, or what??

 

I think it’s the owner more so for being a cheap skate. The Steelers spend to the cap so coaching is much more the issue here.

 

I don't have any excuses for anything, nor will I make any. I will call a spade a spade though which is why you went out
of your way to avoid addressing the questions that was posed to you. If the Steelers chose to go a different route and decided to go with a more offensive minded coach Im not going to lose any sleep about it, but the piling on gets old especially when you don't see other coaches doing much better with better QBs and talent.

I’m not the dim bulb that says the same dumb crap every single day. If you had half a clue you would look at the team and realize we don’t have a qb. Our offensive line is a work in progress. Our wide receivers are petulant children. Our supposed top 10 tight end phones it only half the time. On top of that we lost 2 inside linebackers. A star DT for several weeks. Star safety for several weeks. Etc etc etc

Instead you choose the short bus path of but but but tomlin. Hell you were one of the people that proclaimed all our ills were cured after the draft. Hadn’t even made it through ota’s yet.

I definitely was not one of the people who said our ills were set after the draft. The roster is not nearly as good as some think and a big part of that is the lack of coaching they receive. You do realize a coach is supposed to improve players over time don’t you?

 

Most of the HC in the league go through that.

Why even have coaches at all?? Players play and GMS draft them and Owners pay them! I think this might catch on once the word gets out!

 

And with that same energy....I will ask You why We pay a GM, and an assistant for the GM??? Clearly some of You are blaming the GMs job on the HC. Let me ask You,and others a simple Question. If the GMs didn't have power over the HCs here in Pittsburgh.....why oh why did Bill Cowher threaten to leave over His GM???
