They addressed the position of weakness by playing good defense. When the players on offense didn't take care of the ball is when the games and team's chances started falling apart.

What did any HC do for their teams? I guess we would truly need to know the inner workings of every team to reach any conclusions.

I disagree and so do his bosses. People that want a drastic change as changing a quality HC better be careful what they wish for. Especially when seeing many of the new HCs and retreads HCs continue to lose big time.
They won 8 games because they had a pathetically bad schedule. The best win of the season was over the Rams who are considered the biggest bust of the season.
    TOMLIN is a joke
That's just not true. They had the 7th hardest schedule in the conference this year going into this week.

The AFC is weak, but compared to others their schedule was right in the middle. Neither tough nor weak.

Throw in Harbaugh's lack of respect for Tomlin with throwing late in the game with a 2 score games and that is all I need to know about how other coaches view Tomlin. NO RESPECT and I am sure Harbaugh hopes he is in Pittsburgh for years to come.

Do him a favor and fire him, Kitchens just got the axe, we can get him or Garrett he’s looking for a team now. Tomlin will be sitting somewhere warm making the most in the league

You people that are bashing Tomlin realize this all starts at the FO. They are staying with the old thinking and don’t get rid of anyone.

I myself wouldn’t want to be Tomlin this year. With what he had to work with. I’m 78 yrs. old and have with the Steelers since 1959. This team right now brings back some bad memories. IMO, and I know there are many factors involved but I don’t think I will see another SB from the Steelers.

You can’t make chicken salad out of chicken S**t.

They are making a big deal about Jason Garret missing the playoffs 6 out of 9 years. Lots of speculation that he will be fired. But no such talk of Coach Cliche getting fired. Why not? We know why but nobody is allowed to say it.

Ok great you hate Tomlin. Why the need to blow up every thread telling us that? Why berate fellow Steelers fans about Tomlin? You act as if somehow that fans here supporting Tomlin is causing him to keep his job? Write a letter to ownership or something.
We know how you feel. Move on already.

I continue to be amazed by the hate some of you spew, especially after a loss. The Steelers and Mike Tomlin performed better than expected with all the key injuries. Now, if Ben, Tuit, Conner, Nix, and others didn't suffer serious injuries and the season ended 8-8 then I would find it unacceptable. Looking forward to next season.

I love the Steelers and Steelers Nation and that includes all you Tomlin haters

They said a stat during game about the steelers haven't scored 4th qtr td in 8 games and are 30th in league in 4th qtr scoring.we can all blame the O coordinator but Tomlin has the final say. We can also blame the injuries this year but it's not just this year Tomlin has had great teams that play uninspired football for awhile now. His in game coaching is terrible especially late game decisions. I am not blaming Tomlin alone but this team needs a change at the top or this trend will continue. 8-8 no losing seasons is good for some teams but not in pittsburgh.

Tomlin can do no wrong. He’s the second best coach to Bill. Didn’t you know this?
