I feel sorry for the defense. Those guys are busting their asses and in the field way longer than they should be.

Some of us do blame Him for some coaching, but some of us are smart enough to realize.....that He is a HC, not the GM, and owner. What some people blame Him for is amazing......He would have to be the most powerful HC in the history of the NFL. He just picks any player He wants in the draft , and FA....Hires, and fires all the coaches, and GMs, and never once has to asked about the how the money is spent, or who it goes to....the GMs, and Owners just let Him rule everything , and they are just His puppets. LoL All I can say is if people actually believe this.....they must have been the Owners of every place they ever worked, or have never worked...to think this is how things work on a team, or any company in the real world.
He is responsible for coaching the team...that's all. I have no problems with people questioning His coaching....it's when they add everything else in their fantasy.

Every fan wants their team to win the sb.

It probably would help to understand the game beyond a simple elementary level. Firing Tomlin just to hire a new coach wouldn’t guarantee playoff wins and sb contention. It’s funny how many fans seem to think it works like that.
You’re going to have a bad offense when your 1st round qb can’t read the field and/or be accurate enough to execute routine pass plays. Who predicted that Kenny would be this bad, you?

The point is that despite Kenny playing like a bust and bogging the whole offense down, the team is still 6-4 and is currently in the playoff race. It’s you Tomlin haters that want to whine about all the negatives(offense) without giving credit for the overall picture.

See, this is where you’ve got to remember the facts. The fact is that this team was predicted to finish last in the division and not make the playoffs. You can talk about all the playmakers you think we have but the fact is we were assessed as having the least talented roster in the division. The roster has talent but also obvious holes which is why they weren’t predicted to be a playoff team. Inside lb, safety, slot corner, and outside corner were all question marks before the season and they’ve proven to be areas of concern now. They tried to cover these holes with cheap free agent signings and it’s been a struggle. 2/3 of the inside lbs they’’ve signed are gone for the year. Neal has been a relative disappointment, and Levi has regressed to being one of the worst cbs in the league. That’s not even mentioning injuries to guys like Cam and Minkah. They’re starting practice squad guys on defense.

Despite all those issues the team is 6-4. All the whining is just not justified imo.

If Kenny was just an average QB, the Steelers would be a legit contender under Tomlin right now. That’s based on the parody in the whole league right now.

The Jets haven’t been to the playoffs in over 10 years. How many coaches you think they’ve cycled through in that time?

Don't know. Can't be as many as the Chargers. They're on number 15 since the merger. You can see how well it's worked for them!

It won't be a problem for the Steelers if they make a change at the head coach position.Problem with the Browns, Jets or other bad teams of the past, they change head coaches every 2-3 years... I don't want a situation like that for the Steelers but if they make a change after this year, that won't make them a situation like the Browns, especially after 17 years with the same head coach

The Steelers need to do something to become an elite team once again....The last time they were elite and had a chance was in 2017...6 years ago....The steelers make the 1 AFC title game only once since 2011 and the texans have won more playoffs game since that time

Remember under Cowher they made the AFC title game half the time between 1994 to 2005 with 3 different QB(each twice)

So how long would a new coach get before the “need to something” else? Tomlin gets fired after this season and new coach comes in next season. How many seasons does the new guy get to win playoff games?

I don't think the Steelers are going to fire Tomlin but if I would be the Steelers, I would consider a trade like the saints did with Sean Payton

For your question, it's hard to say, since it always depends on the context

The context is you saying that the job Tomlin is doing isn’t good enough. Apparently you feel as though another coach could come in and do a better job. So how long would they get to win playoff games with this team? 1 year? 2 years?

Problem with Tomlin, it's not just for this year, it's in the last few years that was a problem....if it was his decision, keeping Canada for so long was such an awful decision, especially after the 2022 season. For your question, ideally, to become an elite team, it would take 3-4 years but I think the Steelers need a true rebuilding....I'm not saying it's all Tomlin's fault but sometimes after 17 years, it's time for a change

We need a true franchise QB.I don't know if it was Khan, Colbert, Rooney or Tomlin who made this final call, but it was a bad decision... His ceiling was not high from the start

I hoped the best for him and that he would surprise me and I don't think he's bad like he's been in the last few weeks, but still a bad draft pick... The Steelers need new ideas, their old method, the steelers way does not work at this point

All I got from this is you want a change from Tomlin just to have a change from Tomlin.

I see nothing wrong with the “Steeler way”. If it no longer worked the team wouldn’t be 6-4.

I don’t think that the team needs a “true rebuild”. I think that they’re a competent qb away from being contenders as is. How could you not agree?
