Tomlin Trade Rumor May Be Real

I'm referring to a coaching vision. But I get what you mean.

 

If I’m Tomlin and can keep collecting paychecks with no fear of repercussions for a **** job why leave? He’s got the best job in America all he does is come up with cliches in a press conference and cash million dollar paychecks. Because we all know he sure as **** isn’t game planning or coaching.

 

Rex Ryan said we’d be crazy to fire him. All the disingenuous Steeler haters are coming out now and backing him because they want us to stay down.

 

The amazing thing to me is there is zero way possible that ManU would put up with their club not getting out of the group stage in the Champions League, the Yankees would not put up with not getting to the ALCS, and the Lakers wouldn't put up with the Lakers not winning a playoff series in a 7 year span.... So why should the Steelers be any different than peer teams from across the sports spectrum, foreign and domestic?

 

My point was however it comes about, the Chargers have been choking it away for decades.

 

They just have done, they finished bottom in the weakest group. The manager remains in situ.

But I agree with your general point, Tomlin has had endless chances and time, and he has failed, time to go.

You mean the interview where Pickens was asked about the "great meeting" Tomlin said that they had and Pickens' response was essentially "what meeting?".

Tomlin is a defensive coach so his advice to a young QB is don’t throw a pick. I prefer incompletions don’t throw over the middle a punt is ok. He basically says 10 things that lead to not scoring. Then he wonders why they only score 10 points a game. He should not speak to a QB kind of like talking to a kicker

 

Ed Bouchette made a good point you don't fire him, because he's an asset, if some team wants to trade for Tomlin take the draft picks.

 

LOL Rex Ryan also keeps insisting that Zach Wilson is going to be good.

How you talk to the QB doesn't matter when he's limited. In fact not throwing picks was Kenny's one strength.

Also it is funny how after firing the OC this team has taken a nose dive. Not that the OC didn't deserve it. But the OC was dealing with a personnel issue that wasn't going to start churning out points no matter what he did.

 

Dont forget about a trade to the Jets. He and Aaron Rodgers have man crush’s on each other.
