I guess in defense of Haley he was asked to have a play from the goal line assuming it would be counted as a catch but not a touchdown. I don't think they they thought or would be ruled incomplete and be 2nd down back on the 10 yard line.

Watch the video. It starts after the pass has been ruled incomplete and before the pass to dhb

Yes, my mistake, Haley should have had a better plan than that garbage. Ben should have just thrown it away though instead of forcing it.

How on earth are people still blaming Haley for that? The second DHB was tackled, Ben was signalling to the rest of the players that he was going to clock it. That's 100% on Ben. Haley didn't tell him to do that. So then once Haley sent the play in, there was too much confusion and not all the players knew what was happening. Then, Ben made a terrible throw that resulted in a pick. He should have thrown it away.

How on earth is any of that Haleys fault?

    I’m not a Haley-hater, but...

I thought Tomlin told him before the Hey-Bey play to have a second play ready in case the first didn’t result in a stopped clock. Can’t he communicate “we’re gonna run two plays, here’s the first one” to Ben?

The inference here seems fairly obvious to me.
