"We will own this loss" blah blah blah
We did not play to our standard......
Translation.....season is over because our defense could not stop a pee wee team right now and Ben is schizo or dr jeckle and mr hyde.

Please end this nightmare and start over with a new QB and coach

The defense is a joke but bell ruined the season.. If I were the O lineman I would go find him at the cheese cake factory and just beat the living piss outta him

Unless Bell can rush the passer or cover a TE he wouldn't have made a difference in our record. We'd still be 1-2-1.

Yupp he did. Tbh those guys really loved and respected him and that's why they were so hurt by him carrying the situation the way he did .

Absolutely spot on...this is fundamentally a defensive problem. We get no field position from our defense.

And Berry's 30 yard punts don't help. Comical how Koch was punting a good 15-20 yards farther than Berry on every punt.

Yes, thanks for the punter comment. Another field position issue.

Well the fact is only 26points from the D to a rival. If we had Bell who knows how long we could have extended drives instead of 3 and out

Sure. Franchise QB, the best WR in the game, Good slot receiver, and no points in second half. Clearly a defensive issue.

If Steelers want to be an elite franchise, they better bring in elite coaching staff. This promoting from within ain't cutting it.

The fact is, the way the O played, Bell wouldn't have done squat... The play calling tonight would've guaranteed it.

This teams woes have nothing to do with bell other than the fact that maybe they can't personally handle the situation. Would he make them better? Perhaps... Maybe not... we'll never know at this point. Funny thing about Bell is, this team has accomplished nothing more or less with or without him save for stats other than fielding a degenerative defense.

Is what it is and that clown ain't a difference maker especially on a team that has no idea how to make differences and that fact is getting noticeably worse the past few seasons. Coaches/coordinators did not and I presume would still not know how to get creative with him and personnel or in the very least get creative with others which would make the O less predictable and give him some sort of shelf life!

They simply do not game plan to exploit the uses and or long term usefulness of the tools in their bag...
They do not! **** starts at the top and this teams mismanaged... Don't know if Rooney Jr. Is the man for the job. Things in the club house though similar output wise are getting worse under his watch no lies.

We are likely 2-2. Conner fumble in week 1 was a killer.

Bell hurt 2015-Fitz fumbles vs Denver leads to loss in playoffs.

Bell holds out 2018-Conner fumbles in week 1 leads to loss.

    Bell not dependable.

The Ravens were 8/17 in 3rd down efficiency. The defense was able to get off the field on 3rd down. The defense made stops. The issue was in the 2nd half because offense wasn't able to sustain drives to score. Zero points in the 2nd half. The Steelers offense was 2/12 on third down. The Steelers defense was on the field 10 minutes longer than the Ravens defense.

    Yep.

I wouldn't give the defense a pass for this game - there were areas where they made mistakes, no doubt. But the offense went to **** in the second half. We've talked endlessly about the lack of communication on D, but the O seemed seriously out of step for a lot of the game.
