Im sorry. I think I am more pissed off right now than I was after the game.

This was the most embarrassing loss in Steelers history. How can Tomlin be allowed to sit here and continuously dodge every single question thrown at him?

Im not sure why I thought this presser might be different.

Tomlin must be sponsored by Dodge. That presser was the waste of time I was assuming it to be.

The Seahawks had a similarly disappointing season. Many were predicting a rematch of the 2005 SB. They fired their OC who is much better than ours. Someone just need to grow a pair and say Fitchner will not be back and we are looking for his replacement

Ah so the Owner didn’t show up at the podium instead of Coach?

This is why there is no accountability on this team. When your head coach continually has no accountability, then you reap what you sow.

Yeah, F him. He routinely puts LBs on WRs and blames the LBs. This is what a lazy, stupid coach does and says.

They're not winning anything meaningful until this clown is gone. The Super Bowl win was a flukey luck of the draw, with Cowher's players bailing him out with once in a lifetime plays against a heavy underdog to steal a win.

I really don’t know why they bother with this season ending press conference. It’s pretty much the same every year... He ‘can’t’ answer any of the questions directly because he hasn’t had a chance to properly assess this or that. I can see that for things like free agents, salary cap, draft... But you don’t have any type of assessment on your coordinators or position coaches? You’ve been working with them all year and seeing the results of that work. You should have a pretty damn good idea.

At least Tomlin did say changes need to be made and that he can't maintain the status quo anymore. He said continuing to do that and hoping it will change is insanity.

It's probably coach speak bs, but we'll see.

There's words and actions. If the words don't become actions it's pointless.

Thanks.... That's kinda my point. Why bother with having the presser, if you can't (won't) answer any questions? Have it in a week or two, when there may be more clarity. I'm not naive and I don't expect all of the cards to be laid out on the table, but this was pretty pointless.

And it's apparent that lip service doesn't have an expiration date on Pittsburgh's North Shore. The Pens will fire a SC winning coach midseason but somehow it taboo for the Steelers to do the same. Stability is awesome, but it's been 10 years since the last SB appearance.
