Tomlin press conference today...,

How many times are we gonna hear the same garbage like “it’s popcorn” or “I’m not ready to paint it with a broad brush.” bull**** today instead of getting legit answers of what the hell is really wrong with this team and how it’s going to get fixed. I’m so tired of Tomlin and his arrogance and his unwillingness to do anything to fix the same problems that we keep seeing with this team week in and week out. I really hope somebody in the media either today or in the upcoming weeks if this disaster continues gets the balls to ask him tougher questions instead of just sitting there every week listening to him spew the same garbage every Tuesday press conference. I am just so sick of it and sick of Tomlin period.

 

If you've seen one Tomlin press conference after a loss, you've seen them all.

 

Coach doesn't have those answers.

I'd love to be a reporter because I would be such a d***.. Instead of being nice I'd be like so coach why after 10 years is your defense still garbage and getting worse with each passing week even tho your a defensive minded coach

So many records the Defense held have been broken by lesser opponents under him.

 

Tomlin built the defense to fit his image. He is a former defensive guru, secondary specialist. And this is his vision for the Steelers defense.

 

I wished somebody would..

 

He was never a D guru....

 

He was a defensive coordinator and secondary coach.

 

Harbaugh coaches circles around Tomlin. It's sad to accept this as truth, but it's reality.

Hes a bum period, knows nothing and solves nothing, no adjustments just Mr. Cliche. Watching the end of the half of the Monday night game V. Joseph was right on top of the ref to call a TO after the play was run. He knew what the play was and what he wanted right after the outcome. It would have to be snowing in hell for Tomlin to be that into a moment of a game ever.

 

He was a DB coach for dungy and had pro bowlers like lynch and barber who already knew more about their positions than he did, and he was a DC for the vikes one year where his defense was very mediocre, so he was far from any damn guru at either job....

 

So isnt first year coach Vrabel, titans 3-1 and in first place with a way less talented offense......

 

Well apparently the defense is finding it's groove according to Tomlin lol.. What a joke

 

Should have used preseason to find your groove.

Are any of the reporters allowed to ask the tough questions? Can they continue a line of questioning until he gives a satisfactory answer? I bet they would get barred from further PC's if they didn't 'behave'.

 

Yea once again Tomlin says nothing at this press conference today and just spewed a bunch of nonsense like usual. He said numerous times it’s early and there is still plenty of ball to play. Well that might be true but the margin of error for this Steelers team right now is getting smaller and smaller each week. They already are a 1.5 behind both the Ravens and Bengals and lost a home game to the Ravens already. So if your Tomlin you better start winning games and you better win the rest of them this month to be quite blunt about it against Atlanta at home, on the road at Cincy, and at home against the Browns after the bye week. They need to be 4-2-1 going into that Ravens game I feel the first week of November to have a legit chance of still winning this division and being a factor in the AFC. Right now they are nowhere close to either of those.

 

If you’ve seen one press conference by any coach you’ve seen them all.

 

I don't know about that. Jim Mora, Denny Green and Mike Singletary seemed a little more unpredictable than most coaches.

 

Those may not be the best head coaching examples examples.
