Tomlin owns every bit of this lousy performance.

That holding call on Moore on Najee's TD run was BS.

Another thing nobody has mentioned - end of game, last two weeks. Lions don't let Muth get OOB with no timeouts, Steelers let Bears receivers easily do the same.

    Such a poorly coached team.

Plenty of blame to go around, from Top to Bottom. The games over. It was ugly. A tie is a joke.

My concern at this time is the health and availability of Watt, Dotson, Haden and Turner.

    On to the Chargers...

Nope. It was the correct call. Moore clearly held him. Didn't need to but he did anyways.

Schobert comments are damning, took a guy from the outside to call it out. This team is a joke.

We should have lost last last week. The officials saved us. Should have lost to the 0-8 lions, their kicker saved us. So at what point is it on the coach if we suck? This is a bad team and a poorly coached team.

I do agree bad losses happen. It’s usually a fluke and not to the worst teams in the league but lets just assume this is a fluke. We will ignore the trend of losing to really bad teams that Tomlin owns. Lets talk about post season wins over the past 10 years. Thats fair right?

Schobert needs to shut up and produce better, look at his and Bush's tackling effort on that TD run by the Lions RB #35.

It was weak, OL holds people like that on every play and it's not called.

Plus his hands never came 2 the outside....they were inside the whole time on my view of it....they never call that.

Unless you're saying cherry picking as in being petty in pointing out something that's common across the league (as in good teams losing to bad teams) then please elaborate for us on the first part of your comment what u meant?? I'm trying to figure out what I missed.

You dont have to cherry pick to point out that the Steelers constantly have let downs against poor teams with Tomlin at the helm... I would be curious to know though his record against teams with losing records when they have a winning record and are favored. I really want to see if it's as bad as we make it out to be. I did copy this reddit comment about Tomlins issues with bad teams:

"comment from a post this morning (you probably know which one) got me thinking, what exactly is Tomlin's record against teams that finish with a losing record? And how does that compare against the elite head coaches in the NFL, say for example, Bill Belichick? I pulled the data since 2015 for both teams, I bolded losses to losing record teams (data from pfr):

Here is every loss the Pittsburgh Steelers have had since 2015:
    2018: Chiefs (12-4), Ravens (10-6), Broncos (6-10), Chargers (12-4), Raiders (4-12), Saints (13-3)
    2017: Bears (5-11), Jaguars (10-6), Patriots (13-3)
    2016: Eagles (7-9), Dolphins (10-6), e Patriots (14-2), Ravens (8-8), Cowboys (13-3) e
    2015: Patriots (12-4), Ravens (5-11), Chiefs (11-5), Bengals (12-4), Seahawks (10-6), Ravens (5-11)

And here is every loss the New England Patriots have had since 2015:
    2018: Jaguars (5-11), Lions (6-10), Titans (9-7), Dolphins (7-9), Steelers (8-8)
    2017: Chiefs (10-6), Panthers (11-5), e Dolphins (6-10) e
    2016: Bills (7-9), Seahawks (10-5-1)
    2015: Broncos (12-4), Eagles (7-9), Jets (10-6), Dolphins (6-10)

Mike Tomlin and Bill Belichick have the same number of losses to losing record teams since 2015 (6). Can we please stop using this tired argument?
    e: a letter
e2: data for 2016 got cut off, added in the 3 additional losses (doesn't change anything)
e3: u/Markedwards54 pointed out that I messed up the Dolphins' record for 2017, had them listed as 10-6 (2016 record, damn my poor eyesight). So Tomlin actually has one less loss than Belichick."

This comment was from 2019...I'm willing to go further and look at 2020 if someone wants to look at Tomlin 2020. I can check Belichick. By the way....

… and so many losses. The 0-8 lions and 3-5 bears dude. Its brutal.

funny to see some fans defending the HC still. We didn’t just start losing . Over the last decade we have 2 post season wins. The ravens have 7 , the browns have 1 . You might be fine with that but most fans are not fine with that.

no one wants to see us lose. i want to see Tomlin win coach of the year every season. I also really wanted Mason to he the man. He’s just not. It was on full display today as to why he’s not. The same can be said for Tomlin . His coaching greatness died when we lost to the packers in the SB 11 years ago

Thinking about that quote more since my last reply, he is pointing at himself and the other players and not the coaches.

Doesn’t matter though, if that’s what is going on, it’s the coaches job to put their boot up the players ass.

dont know what the record is but I know our winning % against the worst of teams is not good. Thats not the only problem. That problem is just a piece of very strong evidence as to why Tomlin hasn’t been a good coach for the last 10+ years. Im not looking to write off a coach for 1 bad game or even 1 bad season. But I will say enough is enough after 10 years of inconsistency and disappointing losses year after year.

Like I posted earlier teams don't hit that much in practice anymore, also the DL isn't doing their job to free up the ILBs except Heyward.

Well I edited my previous comment to show Tomlin is not the only coach with issues against losing teams and over the past few weeks that become more obvious then ever as the league has shown more parity

I don't care it was still a win, the Steelers have been robbed by the refs in the past too.

News flash genius, the Steelers aren't that good themselves, the Ravens needed a record 66 yard FG to bounce off the crossbar to beat the Lions in OT.
