IMG_9251.jpeg I mean it really is sad that it’s beginning to end this way.

They didn’t luck into him, they saw their guy and went and got him but he wasn’t available to every team in the league, Chiefs made sure of that.

    Heard from Pimply Dan recently.
when asked how do the steelers get rid of both matt canada as OC and Tomlin as HC, Pimply Dan said to promote matt canada to head coach. There solves both problems. no?

Hard to fire someone who has never really worked! p.s. I like mike as a person but The Steelers are my passion when it comes to football.

True and in person he/she might be the coolest person ever. I will consider that before doing any more bashing of anyone.

I do enjoy banter here. I am no fan of Tomlin and I get some pushback on that, but overall, this is a pretty good forum. I'll try and watch my own behavior moving forward.

For the record, in person, I like to make people laugh, usually sarcasm and sometimes self-deprecating humor. Thankfully Tomlin's lack of coaching/hiring/plannin abilities makes beign funny easier.

    ROTFLMAO

I do agree, retread hires are and will always be the rage because too many GM/owners are lazy.

I am laughing because whomever gets Tomlin will regret it after about game 5 or 6 of season 1. I'd follow their beat writers and bloggers to see the first article or story that starts to question the hire. The "I told you so" will be already written and ready to post here and on their board. It will feel like winning the Super Bowl.

I’d say the same misguided statements were made by the Philly press when Andy Reid was let go. I can remember the “he can not do it, big game loser, not the guy” talk. He was there for years and never won it all. Then amazingly, he is the best coach around. Its about the players dude.

It’s all a matter of luck

Sure, luck means a lot in football. Not having a good quarterback is bad luck.

Not a argument...unless You choose to make it one...it was a fact. He said they were fine losing Andy. Well isn't most teams fine losing a coach that never won a SB for them??
