Does Cody Flavin post on this board? Could have been written by someone here.

No doubt Tomlin hires bad coaches but I find the reason silly. They are no threat to his job, thats not how it works. If he had a coach in demand they’d just get hired away like every other coach does in the league, they wouldn’t get Tomlins job.

But I do feel he hires coaches who won’t butt heads with him, coaches with no clout that he can steamroll. Yes man.

And Andy doesn't have the defensive accumen that Tomlin has. I agree with finding a QB, but what's your point?

I’m just saying it could be good for Steelers to start fresh.

I don’t care what Tomlin would do somewhere else.

Eagles recovered from Andy leaving and so will Steelers.

Say in some bizarre world, Steelers drafted Mahomes. Do you really think Mahomes would have developed under Tomlin, like he has under Reid?

Last time I checked, Chiefs have a good defense under Reid at HC.

That’s because Reid went out and got a good defensive coordinator. Tomlin’s ego will never allow him to get a good DC or OC.

I sometimes wonder about the effect of Fantasy Football has on today's game.
Fans are really only interested on who gets them points.

'The Chief' had to wait a while to achieve success. 1933 -> 70's. Only a playoff appearance in '47.
He even was part of decision to trade away Johnny U...
But God love him, he went on to build dominate franchises.

I'm a bit anxious to see what takes place during the offseason.

But you didn’t respond you just bashed the guy for a post and demeaned him. Making the assumption We all thought his post was irrelevant as you implied.

Tomlin is stuck in 2003 era football, it is not even close to today's game and offensive minded playing. and we hire DOLT's for OC's......

He / and Rooney, live in their FEARS

    it's pathetic.

    Not this fan

I'd like some AFCCG's and maybe a Super Bowl appearance again, or 2....before I die (God forbid, I ask for a PLAYOFF WIN again.....) But not under Tomlin, this won't happen.

don't be anxious, Rooney LIKES what he see's - there will be little change where it is needed MOST.

Dang HM, I conceded the offense to you but now you've added some unknown components. Would Mahomes be at the same level? That's an unknown and I won't say either way because the guy is a unique talent with or without Reid. KC's D has been decent but the Offense has been the saving grace for that program. Last minute drives have won key games in their past routes to win the SBs, led by Mahomes.

Then there's that eric Bienemy factor this year. I know we're just expressing our opinions and you are one of the few on this board who makes sense with your arguments.

Tomlin is not and has not been an X and O coach, that known.

    No ****.

Same was said about Ben under Cowher. Ben had his best offensive years under Tomlin, not Cowher.

LOL. Ben had 2 years under Cowher, one being his rookie year. Talk about apples and oranges.

(Edit: I forgot about 2006. As we would all like to. 3 seasons. Point still stands)

Tomlin will quietly leave if the fans really start to turn on him. Just hope he doesn't burn things to ground like Belichick is doing. I dont think Tomlin is that type? I like Mike .

NO WAY. NO GOOD QB would thrive here in this hellish non - offense focused organization.

I just feel T will know when to go. Believe the challenge of a Rookie QB etc. etc. was intriguing at first and now ,well we all see it. Steelers in trouble Pickett is weak. Coach T takes a year off tv money and a vacation. Then has pick of Jobs. Young still.

For $12.5m to turn in an average record at best, none of us would retire. We would bank that check every single time!! So the best possible solution for us would be they trade him to get some picks but if most teams know he is under contract for only one year they might just wait it out to see if he still wants to Coach.
