You know what's sad there is a good chance Kenny Pickett gets a Super Bowl ring this year!

Hiring competent coordinators is a HUGE part of the head coaches job. Therefore, you can't really say he's a good head coach if you think the guys he keeps hiring are duds.

As did Blount, AB, JuJu, Arien’s, etc. Leave Tomlin and prosper!

SDOT is getting the last laugh with this thread. He's was pointing out things like this for a while and you guys ran him off the board. Shame on you.

I agree with you in that regard. He is really lacking in that area. I also think that, he as a devensive minded head coach, that he has the offensive mindset to play conservative and not turn ball over..ie don't throw interception. I think that plays into how these QBs are playing...gunshy and not willing to take chances sometimes. Big Ben was a renegade and did what he did, throw deep on 3 and short, and it kinda offset Tomlins conservative approach, but its hurting the team now that we dont have that mindset at QB. Tomlin is a helluva motivator and players want to play for him is his positive, he just needs to get a young offensive minded OC that has fresh ideas. He also needs an updated identity on the defensive side of the ball that helps out the front 7...instead of relying on our front 4 to get pressure on the QB and expect our DBs to hold up on the backend. We have big press man corners playing zone defense and WRs are wide open .

Because of recent seasons whenever the Steelers have a great start I'll always be waiting for it to crash and burn.

I made homemade terrible towels when Myron gave instructions on the radio. I camped out at Three Rivers in zero degree weather for playoff tickets. I shook Myron's hand at Cope's Cabana. I was at the last game at Three Rivers and the first game at Heinz. I'm out as a Steelers fan until Tomlin is gone. Leadership matters and the head coach is the most important person on the roster. If ownership tolerates mediocrity and failure, then I can't get excited anymore. Sports is about fun and the Steelers are no fun when I know their leadership is a bust. I'll be back when team ownership makes a change.

That was far, far from the reasons he got flak on the board.

Art II is the problem. He's the one that has allowed this to go on far longer than it should. The inmates run the asylum.
