On only 26 pass attempts....The jags offense had only 10 points in each of the previous 2 games....Maybe this is why Tomlin prepared his team more on the pats than on the Jaguars if we look at his comments during the season and also some of the comments from players on social media during the week against the Jaguars like Bell...

 

Still won way more without Mahomes that Tomlin did without the culture and the super bowl team of Bill Cowher

 

Gave the killer B's era roster to Reid and I guarantee the Steelers would have had more success and also better culture and less off field drama...Reid would also have hired a better DC than Butler...In 2017, the Steelers had 8-10 pro bowl players but it was not enough vs Jaguars

And btw, I'm scared as hell we're going to see an all-time meltdown by Georges Pickens in 2024. He should have been benched after his comments before the Bengals game in 2023....Yes he had a monster game vs Bengals but that could hurt in the long run

Andy Reid has done nothing of any significance without Pat Mahomes....wait....He did get fired. Tomlin was 6-2 against the great Andy Reid before Pat Mahomes, and that includes when He was with the eagles. So yes....I'd say Mahomes is the a big big big difference

 

Hell if not for a bull$hit call in the AFC Championship against NE(imagine that) they would have went to the SB that year.

 

The chiefs were 4-12,2-14,4-12,10-6,7-9 and 2-14 in the previous 6 years before Reid was hired....After that they were a playoffs team 4 of the next 5 years and Reid was one of the reason why the chiefs have had Mahomes in the 2017 draft.He make 5 NFC title game in the 2000s with the eagles too.The steelers did nothing outside of one AFC title game in 2016(a blowout)after 2010

 

No but tell me just one steelers players in 2017 who did not deserve to be in the pro bowl that year...Just one

It was 2-5 not 2-6(Reid had won in 2008 and 2015 and 2012,2014,2016 twice and 2017 for MT) but record head to head don't mean anything for me....I mean Sean McDermott is 4-1 vs Tomlin but Tomlin is for me a much better HC that the head coach of the Bills
