It's funny the scheme isn't outdated for those guys to make plays in the regular season, they need to step up and play like All-Pros.

Seems to be working for KC… they won back to back Superbowls with outdated schemes. Was this just being sarcastic?

You do realize if the offense scores more points it helps the defense, that's been the Steelers biggest problem in the playoffs lately a struggling offense.

Agreed, but it also helps if defense can stop someone. Steelers were giving up less than 20 pts a game and losing. Really opposing teams only needed 16 pts to win. Bills gave up over 30

The steelers score 42 points(with only 2 turnovers) against the best defense in the NFL in 2017 but it was not enough

Their scheme don't work against some of the best offense in the NFL in the regular season too....The 49ers and texans kill us last season...Mahomes and the chiefs had 36 points(without Kelce in 2021) and 42 points in 2018(with only 5 3rd attempts in that game)...The bills score 31 points in the first half in 2022 and it was so easy for them....Burrow kill us in 3 of the last 4 matchup....etc

Also the steelers are 1-11 without Watt since 2017 and they can't stop the run without Heyward

TOP is what really helps your defense Steelers sucked at that also with constant 3 n outs. By the time our defense got to sidelines they had to turn right back around and get on the field.

Wilson will be fine at QB, his biggest issue in Denver was taking too many sacks. The Steelers have a better OL, and should be a top 5 rushing team.

One of the big problem for Wilson,he hold the ball too long....It can be great, like more big play,it can be bad too, like more sacks

Any concern about Harris? Or is it nothing to read into about whats going on ? Hope he is physically and mentally ready to play come opening day, as we need both him and warren

That's 42 points after they fell behind 28-7, the offense rarely gets off to a fast start in the playoffs.

Harris has lost weight and is ready for this season, Khan said there's a chance they sign him to an extension.

We had that early on on in Bens career also. Hopefully Russ , like @steelersrule6 said, only has to play average for us to succeed. And, maybe get a playoff win or 2 , baby steps.

And I bet the offense didn't play complimentary football in any of those games, that year Burrow and the Bengals swept the Steelers Ben was terrible in those games.

No doubt the 2021 offense were horrible the entire season but the defense is still terrible against good competition in the last decade...The packers had similar scheme that the steelers when they had Dom Capers as DC and they had the same problem on defense come playoffs time after 2010....The new player safety rule back in 2011 have hurt this style of defense

The loss to the Chiefs in 2021 when they were up 36-33 with 13 seconds left will haunt the Bills forever...Not as bad as their loss vs NYG at the Super Bowl in 1990 but this is still awful way to lose...The margin between win and loss is very slim sometimes

    Keyword here is "should".

How they handle the likes of Broderick Jones and Troy Fautanu will be very telling. This team already goofed up with the likes of Kevin Dotson and Kendrick Green in regards to the Offensive Line. Granted, Troy did practice at RT during Minicamp so perhaps that carries over to Training Camp.

If it doesnt?!..... Man... Dan Moore Jr at Left Tackle again is simply somehting I cannot stomach..
